Whenever I am looking for somewhere in town to get coffee, lunch, a snack, or breakfast my mind always settles on Avoca, either with company or a solo endeavour. It is close to everything, the staff are always fantastic, and the produce likewise. Everything is fresh and there is always a lovely atmosphere. It may be a tad pricey but... More

This had been recommended to us as a great place for brunch, and we were not disappointed! It's busy (because it's so popular!), but we didn't have to wait long for a table, and it was worth waiting for. Between the 6 of us we sampled a range of things from the menu, and all of us were delighted with... More

I popped in to escape the cold and the rain and enjoyed a lovely warming Celeriac and truffle soup. The fresh bread that accompanied it was divine. This is a cute and rustic cafe, very laid back and relaxed. The seats by the window are old theatre seats (that flip down) which I thought was a nice touch. The star... More

I dined in the downstairs cafe today ... it mainly caters for takeout, but there are a limited number of tables where you can dine-in ( Avoca - please increase the number of tables !) Take out selection is fantastic ( an amazing range of soups ... breads ... salads ... mains... sandwiches .. cakes etc ) Btw the chicken... More

No weekend visit to Dublin is complete without experiencing Sunday Brunch at the Avoca Cafe on Suffolk Street. They have a 'light bite' coffee shop downstairs, but it's the main Cafe on the top floor that you really need to visit. On Sundays they serve Brunch from 11am onwards, and you can get a wide variety of delicious food to... More

Enjoyed an excellent and very relaxed breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The dining space is large and airy but has a nice feel to it, and the menu has all you would wish for for brunch. I didn't have a full Irish breakfast, which looked very appealing, opting for the sourdough toast with smashed avocado and poached eggs. All... More

The place it's amazing for a lazy Sunday brunch. It's very close to the city centre, the food is really tasty and healthy, the prices decent and nice atmosphere. Plus, they serve vitamin water (cucumbers and mint) to all customers, which is awesome!!

The upstairs cafe hideaway has One of the best chocolate brownie with hazelnut I have ever had! It's so rich and chocolati with cream on the side. It doesn't look like much but the surprise of heaven will be revealed at the first bite. And after all that richness, you can go downstairs and purchase some of the amazingly designed... More
