Excellent service, delicious food. I like the ambience and great light in this restaurant upstairs. The scones are delightful and lunches are full of fresh and local ingredients.

Went to Avoca for lunch. Seated straightaway. Food was fab. i had the best burger i had this year. Others in the party had fish n chips and beef curry, all were equally impressed.

We popped into the lovely Avoca shop to browse the shop and saw there was a cafe upstairs. We popped up for a lovely big scone and tea mid-afternoon. It was very busy with lunch patrons and looked like a lot of locals. The scone was great, and service was relatively fast considering how busy it was.

We came here for breakfast yesterday, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the blueberry & macadamia nut pancakes, and the other two in our company had the full Irish breakfast. Everything was beautifully cooked. The service was brilliant, the staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Met some friends for lunch. It is quite a varied menu and you can have wine or beer with your lunch, and quite a few were many were celebrating birthdays. The food was beautifully presented and very colourful. It was tasty and we indulged!! Well worth a visit for good wholesome natural food.

Arrived for lunch and navigated the endless sets of stairs to arrive into a busy room (top of the house) with no availability. So, trekked back down to the basement to the cafe, again busy with no tables. The food on offer is difficult to decipher as it spread over several corners of the tight basement. We opted for the... Came here for lunch and despite a couple of items being unavailable on the menu the service was great and the food was very tasty. Can heartily recommend the lemon cake....so so good.

We went up to the cafe for convenience: we were already in the shop, it was lunchtime, and the rain had started. It was a nice break in the afternoon. The service was a little full of themselves, but the food was pretty good. I enjoyed the beef curry--good flavor and tender meat. The salad and bread was excellent. My... More

Great to see Avoca opening. I was expecting the chaotic parking and the long slow ques for food ...it's always the same with a new place. However, the food prices are ridiculous....Would someone please tell them that they don't do regular and large coffee...it's stupid small and smaller. I was going to have the pate but at nearly 15 quid... More
