I went with a group of people for a few drinks on a Friday night from 9pm. Found the staff to be friendly, the beer to be pleasant, and the music to be decent. A very nice atmosphere, and it was much appreciated.

A non-entity type pub with expensive craft beers that seems to target hipsters, the 20-something group and simple-minded tourists.

Just had a meal there if I could even call it that. We both ordered buttermilk chicken and twice cooked chips. The chicken was dry, tasteless and had bits of gristle, not pleasant. They said marinated for 12 hours but felt like they were in...the deep frier for 12 hours! The twice cooked chips were not nice at all, tasted undercooked and raw. Staff were good so this is not a reflection on themMore

Good Christmas party night. Nice to try some different beers. We got a platter and some chips to keep us going. Nice flavour. We

So many of the pubs in this area seem to be quite generic, its good to find somewhere with a great ale selection that isn't too far off the beaten track. The staff knew their stuff and they had some unusual stuff on tap. Although...quite late on a Saturday evening, the place was big enough that it could be busy, but still have places to sit. I would definitely come back.More

This pub with its wide selection from Galway microbrewery is a nice change from the classic Irish pub serving Guinness. Great atmosphere and food. The beer is high quality for every taste. Nice staff.

We had a great time visiting Against the Grain with our friends. Friendly staff and even friendlier guests. Beer selection was excellent, as there was something for everyone. Highly recommend checking these guys out!

Great little beer haven with decent vegan food, and friendly, helpful staff – they even knew which beers were vegan, off the top of their heads.

I was so looking forward to this spot because of the gluten free options I read about on TripAdvisor. I was disappointed to find that when I brought all my friends out there the bartender Tyler me know they didn't have any gluten free beer...until Thurs. I then had to order a cider, which was okay but then she let me know that that was the last of the batch and they wouldn't have another until 1800. Yikes. I was disappointed because I had pre planned this stop. Don't know if I'd go back but if I do I'll have to call ahead and be sure. We all had one drink and then went to the next spot on the list.More

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Yes we offer many gluten free options on our food menu, in terms of the beers they are rotational beers that change constantly. So there might be some days that we won’t have...More

I came here for some after work drinks and babs and davini couldn’t be more helpful! From choosing between their extensive Galway bay brewery beers ( to which there are more than 10!!) and also adding in the local breweries that they stock I can...honestly say they are the best bar in Dublin!! All staff are up for the Craic and the friendliest of people I’ve ever met! Only down fall is that they aren’t open 24/7!!More
