Dined here recently and really enjoyed the experience from start to finish! Friendly staff and quick service along with delicious meals made this a great experience! Started off with the Tagliere "Italian quarter" which was shared and was blown away by the ample portion of...cured meats, cheese, olives, bruschetta and bread. Perfect with a good bottle of wine. My partner and I each had one of the pastas of the day, he had the rigatoni amatriciana and I enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara. Both were large portions, and homemade pasta cooked perfectly al dente. The sauces were fresh and delicious. No room for dessert after this meal, but we went home VERY happy! Definitely would recommend if you're craving great Italian in Dublin!More

Came last night for my daughters 22nd birthday. As we were visiting from uk we hadn’t organised a cake but they provided a cute little birthday cupcake with candle in . Service and food were excellent . My daughter ordered the beef cheek which was...divine. Staff very polite and helpful. Was the perfect end to her birthday celebrations. Thank you Wallace taverna .More

Being going here for years, it is probably my favourite place to eat in Dublin. The quality of the food is exceptional, a genuine Italian. The Pinsa rectangle pizzas are very good. Staff are great, really friendly and helpful.

This is mostly a pizza joint. There are a few other options on the menu, but they're restrictively expensive (€23 for a chicken breast in sauce - plus €4.50 for a side of veg). My pizza arrived and the central part, under the filling, was...essentially raw. The waiter took it away and brought another quickly. I pointed out that it was exactly the same - raw. The waiter sniffed, said 'That's how we serve it here!' and disappeared. He didn't come back and we were given the bill by another waiter. All-in-all a rubbish, over-priced place to get a meal. Try any other Italian restaurant.More

We arrived on Saturday 3rd December early for our 130pm reservation and if truth be told we were dubious about going in to an empty restaurant but just goes to show you should never judge a book by its cover !! We had the most...brilliant experience , the food was stunning , the service was absolutely spot on and the place filled quicker than you could imagine . Claudio was the manager and if you could ever imagine how you would like to be looked after in a restaurant then go to this place as he / they will not disappoint .More

Went here by accident, as I thought it was somewhere else with a new name ! No - my mistake - it was a new place for us, but what a happy mistake ! Terrific charcuterie board, followed by two of the best pizzas we...can remember eating. Lovely ingredients on great pizza base. It was a super meal, and we will be back !!More

Very disappointed with the food (veg pizza), tasted like canned mushrooms, but nice location and staff are pleasant. A lot better value offering nearby, avoid.

Thanks for your feedback Peter. Our vegetarian pizza has no mushrooms, this is the review you were probably trying to write for the nearby place. Please rectify this when you have a chance :( Andrea

Wallace Taverna is my favorite italian restaurant in Dublin. Everytime i go in Wallace i feel at home. Not so obvious italian meanu, great selection of authentic italian pizzas, absolutely mouthwatering desserts. If you go there either at lunch or dinner time you'll not be...upset with their great selection of pizzas and pastas! A great selection of italian wines is available.More

Our family of six had dinner here and the food was so GOOD. The kitchen had a tiny bit problem with cooking the beef cheek but they end up giving us all the deserts for free and limoncello, even though we told them it’s really...no worries. The milk chocolate baverese (I may have spelled that wrong!) was really good, a must-try! We had a great time here and the staff were all so nice. Highly recommend!More

We went to this restaurant recommended as they say pizzas are really good. But the one pizza we ordered was the cuattro fromaggio and the dough was soggy and slimy as if it had been dipped in water, which puddled on the plate. The waiter...assured us that that was the way it was meant to be caused by the mozzarells. On the other hand, service was good and staff were friendly.More

Contrary to the bio, no main meal vegan options exist aside from a gluten free pasta dish? The salad & roast potatoe alternative was extremely meagre & unappetizing. Zero for effort. The staff were disinterested & the food was over priced. The only good thing...about the visit to Wallace’s Taverna was the company I kept. Bit of a tourist trap. Won’t be back, ever.More

Oh yes, we trap tourists since 2004. Also during covid we survived 2 years trapping tourists from nowhere. Is our specialty. Another service we offer is the free anger vent on our tripadvisor page, thanks for using that :)

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We were visiting Dublin and walked in off the street. Our waitress Marta was great; she was friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere.
