Very simple menu, friendly service, and reasonably priced food. The wine was a bit pricey for the quality but that seems to be the normal post C19.

Very good food! Thanks to restaurant owner he was working with the cook and the wheather together, speaking to customers... Local is clean, comfortable and the food we orderd was delicious. A beef stake to remember and oven backed chicken with a surprisingly buttered and...very good green been and carots! It is located close to the see and precisley near local bus station, easy to find. I did not made pictures of the meal but i remember the quote on the wal "a fish must swim in 3 different enviroment im order to be great: water, butter and wine"More
I love 💕 this restaurant, the food, atmosphere, and staff are lovely. Just had a beautiful lunch here. If your visiting the area you should check it out. It’s well worth it. A lovely Italian restaurant 💞
A cold evening outside but colder inside the restaurant.Heater blowing cold air down as you enter the main door.No heating in the front part of the restaurant and cold air blowing down from ceiling vents at the back part of the building.Food was good but...dress warm or bring your own heater with you.More
We always enjoy our visits to Bianconi's, a family owned restaurant. This time Herself was delighted with the venison stew and I had the best ravioli ever - cod ravioli served with a very light sauce which was full of flavour. The little pieces of...lemon really added to the dish. I can't recommend it highly enough. As for a glass of wine, the staff are capable of recommending a superb wine based on the customer's taste.More
Due to a medical issue I can only have soft cheess that is pasteurized. I asked if the ricotta in the ravioli was pasteurized and the waitress said she did not know as it wasn't homemade but bought in. I then asked for the calzoni...with no onions as I do not like them. The calzoni arrived filled with onions. Due to being in a rush to collect my Father from hospital I did not send it back but rather spent the time picking them out. The waiter did not question a plate full of onions and half eaten dinner. When we asked for the bill I passed on my feedback to which the waitress got defensive and said she said it to the kitchen. So what? This did not help me. We got the bill and looked at it. The waiter saw us looking and said he did not charge for the garlic bread which my mother ordered. I might add this 'garlic bread' was two slices of dipping bread with a bit of butter on it. Very disappointing especially when an 'Italian' restaurant buys in ravioliMore
Been to Bianconi's on a couple occasions now (most recently August 2019) and the food has never disappointed! Laid back Italian atmosphere with a great variety of traditional Italian & local dishes on the menu! Bianconi's Pizzas are fantasic! Dined Al Fresco recently whilst watching...Dublin go by. Relaxing experience with my partner who loved her wine! Italian owner Antonio made us feel very welcome.More
I wrote a review for Bianconi's a few years back but a recent visit reminded me to update it because I've been off travelling for a bit and the hit and miss nature of food on the move is a great reminder to treasure the...pearls on your doorstep. I'm a lunchtime regular here as I work in the area and it is by far the best value for the best food of offer in the area. All the pasta and sauces are home made and cooked al dente and on the spot as you order. I'm not a great person for the pizzas but I've nibbled a few here off other people's plates and the wood fire stove does the business, with a thin crispy crust. They also have a few specials every day which are always a bit interesting. Best of all, Tony is always on hand to keep it all running smoothly. Don't find myself going here for dinner but I'm sure the same principals of quality, service and delicious food are applied. This is a class place and I can heartily recommend.More
