Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It’s been ages since the last visit to Casa Pasta. All the favourites are still available which is great to see !!! We just popped in for a couple of pasta dishes and a pizza. All very well cooked and prompt service.(My daughter loved Penne pasta) Super Value for what we had, felt safe and tables very well spaced out. Won’t leave it as long for the next visit.

We ordered a large order for 12 people for collection for a family birthday and it was fantastic. We had beautiful bruschetta, garlic bread, pizza, pastas, lasagne and the steak was cooked perfectly. The restaurant rang to double check how it should be cooked and the pepper sauce with it was lovely. We were all very impressed with the quality, price and service. We were only waiting a minute or two after our collection time. We will be ordering from Casa Clontarf again and would definitely recommend it.

Come here all the time with my family. They recognise us, we never have a booking and always have space to squeeze us in. The staff especially the owner is so accommodating to everybody. They always treat every single customer personally take the time as we him and haw over what we're going to order, never rush us give us as much time as we need. The food is unbelievable! It's always made fresh and you can tell. It's reasonably priced too. I recommend anybody in the Clontarf area to stop off if not for dinner, their desserts are unbelievable as well. As mentioned in my title. 5 stars is not enough 7 at least.

I ordered our picnic dinner to be collected at 7.30pm and all was ready waiting...handed over by really friendly girl. We ate opposite the restaurant on the grass, the Roma pizza was nothing special and quite soggy and stuck to the box, bruschetta had 3 tiny rings of baguette, not worth €4.50, wings were tiny and not very nice. Bacon and cream pasta and meatballs were very nice. I know things are difficult during this time but it's not the Casa Pasta food we knew and love.

There is something for everyone in Casa, the menu is simple yet consistent. You can dine in or get take out at very reasonable prices; I especially enjoy their pizzas and tortellini. The staff are always friendly and professional. Keep up the great work, Casa! I miss the bakery they had going for a while on Saturdays.

We have often visited for dinner and each time everyone in our family has enjoyed whatever they have ordered, usually pasta .I love the prawn stir fry and portions are generous. The staff are very friendly and efficient and we recommended it as a consistently well run restaurant. No fuss, no pretension.

This restaurant has changed its name to Casa Clontarf. We dropped in without a reservation but the friendly waitress made no fuss and squeezed us in for 90 mins before a table would be needed by clever customers who had booked in advance. This small restaurant is spotless, comfortable and very friendly. The food was excellent, homemade, fresh, and uniquely presented. Specifically, the puddings were all homemade and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was good quality, as was the service when ordering and receiving our food. However we were not informed that the table was only available for two hours, and the first we knew of this was when the bill was placed in the middle of the table. When questioning why we had to leave so abruptly, the response was rude from the staff member. This is not what we want expected and was very disappointing. We won’t be returning.

This was the first restaurant we visited when we came to live in the area 8 years ago, tonight was our last night in our home and we de used to make our last meal out here once again, although we have visited it many times over those years, recommended it to friends staying in our home and taken family there for meals out. It has the best Gluten Free pizza in all of Dublin, the food has always been delicious and tonight was no exception. SpeciL mention of Rose, always a joy to interact with and so helpful every visit we have met her on. Tonight she did a very special thing for us to mark my husbands retirement and hence our reason for leaving the area, on to the next chapter. Thank you Casa Clontarf you have been amazing.

Service top off quality standards. Girls was so nice and polite. I order scallop ravioli with shrimp sauce. Ravioli was perfectly cooked and dressed with a lot of sauce and parmesan. I chose banana and toffee dessert which was dressed with vanilla ice cream. All dressed aesthetically perfect.

Food; greasy spoon level of ingredients at city centre prices. Bland, amateur, cooking. Service; cold, perfunctory, insincere. Advice; Pizza hut is just up the road, is better quality and better value. Don't get placed at table beside the door, or you'll become a human draft excluder.

Using these a lot since March for takeaways. However last night, and for the THIRD time, when I got home I found my order was short! Once I can understand, after the second time they apologised, but will seriously have to reconsider using again. Having said that, the food is always good....

Could you please email me on casapastadublin@hotmail.com so that I can investigate this matter as this should not happen. We are certainly going through a bit of a rollercoaster being open then closed at the moment and managing staffing is difficult at this time but their is no excuse for items missing from an order. Please contact me on email in order for me to be able to investigate this further
