Back in 2001, three Kiwis from New Zealand, along with world renowned chef Peter Gordon established the very first GBK location in London changing the burger scene forever. Today Gourmet Burger Kitchen continues to grow with five unique restaurants across Leinster, Ireland - South William Street, South Anne Street, Temple Bar, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and Dundrum Town Centre. GBK still prides itself on serving up a signature variety of hand-crafted chargrilled burgers, using 100% Irish prime beef with the freshest ingredients and sauces made from scratch every day in each kitchen.

My daughter and I stopped in for a mid afternoon drink and snack. Had one drink and 4 appetizers. The fries were nothing special, not really crispy. The chicken bites could have been reheated from frozen as were the falafel bites. The only memorable dish was the onion rings. They were very crispy and tasty. I would go back for that, but that's about it.

Easy to find and nice burgers for the whole family to choose from. A bit pricey though. Tables a bit small for a family but we ate comfortably enough for a family. Would go again but the bank manager might not let us go too often.

Dinner this evening with my adult daughter, firstly, totally appreciate restaurants finding their feet with new outdoor dining rules etc BUT .....
15 minute wait for table was no problem, shown to table, given menus, all good so far, then went so far down hill we were lost for words.
Waitress arrived to take order, manor very abrupt, clearly did not know how to use ipad like order pad. We ordered two milk shakes, water, two different burgers, fries & side order of onion rings. Onion rings arrived on table first, no napkins, cutlery attached, waited a further 10 minutes for actual food to arrive, still no cutlery etc, eventually arrived, having reminded staff we were still waiting for drinks they finally arrived apx half way through meal, needless to say no apology offered, not good.
Finished eating, requested bill, paying by credit card, so machine brought to table, transaction complete waiter silently left table, no thank you, how was your meal or offer of a reciept. I then followed staff member into desk & requested reciept which was clearly seen as a strange request, given table reciept & I requested card machine receipt, judging by sobbs & sighs this brought I clearly should not have been asking for same, we finally left restaurant, with no thank you, good bye or hope you enjoyed your meal.
For price paid food is good but staff are appalling, clearly absolutely no staff training or basic communication skills needed to work here.

I’ve had GBK (different branch) before and have loved their food so was excited to go back. Was even more excited when I saw on their menu that any burger could be swapped for a bean patty! My mum ordered and made sure to say she wanted it as a vegetarian burger, which is said on our receipt and the server said when brought to the table. Took one bite and noticed a bit of bacon coming out, I checked the burger and it was definitely a bean patty but they had put a load of bacon on top! When my mum brought it back to the server she said “you didn’t say you didn’t want the bacon” and shrugged! I was absolutely appalled as she and a chef suggested we just scrape the bacon off and eat the burger as it was! I could get over a mistake but the rudeness of the server and chef is something else. If you are eating here make sure to check your burgers before you take a bite!

This meal was very disappointing. The staff were not friendly, and it was like all the tables were on top of each other!
When the burger came out it looked like a sloppy mess and I wouldn’t suggest eating here at all.
Overpriced mess, two cokes, two burgers, 50euros.

1. For a place that specialises in burgers and only has to focus on one relatively simple dish, it was bad. Completely charred beef patty, basic garnish, over-toasted bun. Not to mention insanely overpriced in comparison to superior burger joints.
2. Zero effort to adhere to social distancing guidelines. We had to tell the staff twice not to seat someone at the table directly beside us. They seemed oblivious.

Myself and my partner we paid 35 eu for two paints, one of fries and two Burguers that we could easily get in McDonalds with no difference.
A slice of lettuce and tomato inside and a peace of chicken fillet.
My partner did not even got that just smashed avocado and two slices of bacon on it.
Not coming back definitely, don't understand how this place is still running.

Went in for some lunch with my friend and I was initially greeted by a very friendly member of staff who offered us a seat at one of two tables available. As I was about to sit down, another member of staff came over (I assume he was the manager), he said that we could not be seated at the either of the tables because they were reserved. He winked at the other member of staff as he said this. Clearly he did not want to give us either of these tables because he wanted to keep them for a larger group. I think this was extremely rude so I would recommend avoiding GBK.

My friend and I stumbled upon this place during our visit to Dublin. We were both very satisfied with our order, especially mine that had truffle mayo (truffles are my absolute fave!). Their fries and onion rings were exceptional! We liked it so much that we went back a second time (to a different location). Highly recommend it if you're looking for something quick and tasty!

I went here for lunch and it was fantastic. I had the chick chick boom which was a spicy burger and fries. The staff were helpful and very nice. The place is neat and tidy. The service was quick. It's easy to find, price wise it's mid range.

Staff started clearing the table while we were in the middle of our lunch, very abrupt, they seemed to have no idea they should wait until everyone was actually finished eating before clearing plates etc. Very overpriced for the food you get and the poor service.

After receiving a very poor reception in Bunsen Burger next door we left immediately and ventured in here and thank god we did!
Burger and wings were top class washed down with a surprisingly creamy point of Guinness.
