I went to Pinocchio last week for a lunch with some friends because we wanted to eat Italian food and we heard about this restaurant. I ordered one caprese and one parmigiana and after these I tried chicken with mushrooms; everything with a very good glass of red wine. All so delicious! My expectations were totally satisfied and it was... More

Last Saturday we decided to try Italian food in Dublin, so we chose Pinocchio Restaurant, in Ranelagh. The experience was amazing, we ate Pasta with meat sauce ( finally!!!) and we also tasted "torta della nonna", the same recipe that we've prepared attending a cookery class by Pinocchio Restaurant staff. Definitly recommended Italian wine selection that they have at the... More

Went for dinner last night as have been trying to eat out in Ranelagh more. Very disappointing for an Italian. Antipasta to start was bland and taste like it was from a packet from Lidl. Three pasta dishes were had. The gorgonzola cheese was too overpowering in one of them and took away from any other flavour. Actual restaurant itself... More

We went on recommendation but it failed to deliver. Very average in every sense food and value for money. Maybe we picked a bad night (Saturday) but we will not be returning sadly.

Decided to pop in here today on a whim as I fancied some real food- and it never disappoints. Granted the place wasn't very busy - just ourselves, another table of two and a large family table of noisy italians- with one child who clearly doesn't go out for lunch often as was allowed to run riot in the place!... We live in São Paulo, Brazil, home to one of the world's largest Italian communities, and so we really try and seek out the best Italian restaurants when travelling. I have to say we had an immensely enjoyable time at Pinocchios, with a warm welcome, attentive staff and a great atmosphere. The pasta is absolutely excellent, way above average in... More

All 15 of us descended on This place for our xmas lunch and from the start it was good. Our couple of italophiles spoke italian with the maitre de who might also be the owner. Food was good - authentic italian and plenty of wines to choose from. Free digestivo for all at the end which is a very italian... More

The staff were friendly but it took a while to get served because the restaurant was really busy. The food arrived quickly after that but was expensive for what it was; it tasted microwaved. Relaxed atmosphere.
