They've upped their game. Very nice sweet potato wedges and wings. Flushed down with a cold Corona and slice of lime. Recommend it. Recently refurbished also which looks well.

Ate an early breakfast at Burnell before a full day of sightseeing in Dublin. Nice facility, nice decor, friendly, helpful staff and a very good breakfast. The buffet has a great variety of freshly prepared items ranging from fruits, vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, breads,...More

It is rare that I will voluntarily eat in a hotel restaurant more than once in a visit. I am sitting here sipping my tea after my 2nd dinner here in 3 nights. The food was amazing (Guinness Stew one night; BBQ Brisket the 2nd)....More

The Burnell is part of the Hilton Hotel, the food was Ok, however the service was really not what you would expect in a world renowned hotel. Very slow service, it took about an hour to receive our food and even then not everyone received...More

NEVER EVER HAVE DINNER in this restaurant. This is a bar masquerading as a restaurant. It was unbelievably noisy as it was crammed with very noisy thoughtless local men and women (with their children) who are clearly at ease in this restaurant. They may have...More

I know we were a big group (about 40 people) but we waited more than 30 minutes for our food, the portions were quite small and they ran out of vegetables after serving half the tables! Service was slow and disorganized, even though there was...More

Very pricey, no music whatsoever during the week nights, menu with limited GF options, didn't have full selection of spirits available, staff were extremely friendly however.

The place has recently been done up, it looks really nice much more comfortable. The service was absolutely terrible we were waiting ages to be given a menu & then waited again for someone to eventually take our order, there was enough staff standing around...More

Started with a simple bread platter, all delicious and fresh. Second up was the sharing meat platter, omg, superb ribs, wings, beef etc etc. I am not a fan of BBQ sauce as it can be a bit generic and sweet but this one was...More

We didn’t have to go far to find suppliers that know a thing or two about great tasting Irish food. After rounding up some Irish Shorthorn beef from Laois; fish from our very own shores courtesy of Wrights of Marino, who’ve been hauling it in for over 100 years; bread from Bretzel Bakery, who’ve been kneading dough by hand since 1870; and fresh produce grown in the rich soil of Ireland, we’re serving up food that celebrates our local flavours. We take our food pretty seriously, but we love to have fun too! Stop by, hang out, make yourself at home... that’s why we bought the comfy chairs! The tunes will be playing, you’ll be laughing and bellies will be filled with tasty food. Breakfast is on in the cafe every morning, stop in for a coffee or circle the buffet; we have a full lunch and dinner menu that will make your mouth water; Sunday we have slow cooked roasts on the menu; and the craft beer and wine is ready to be poured daily.
