We visited Restaurant Forty One for a birthday celebration as we had a delightful experience there last year. We requested a table in the front room when we made the booking, however we were told none was available; however we did see a number of empty tables there during lunch. The entrance door has become a little grubby and wear... More

Set in an stately Georgian house, Restaurant FortyOne strikes visitors with its hushed elegance from the moment you step through the front door. Tables are set up in a number of rooms, so dining here feels intimate and personal. All ingredients are local, with quite a bit of the menu coming from the restaurant's garden. These fresh ingredients are presented... More

During birthday weekend lol, had the birthday lunch here at this beautiful Georgian House opposite St Stephens Green. From start to finish it was fabulous. We were able to sit outside for the pre drinks and with the sun belting down, one could have been anywhere it was just lovely. For starters 5 of the 6 of us had the... More

Was invited here for lunch. Having had dinner before and not being too happy with the seating I was intrigued to see where we would be seated. I was extremely happy when I was brought into a front room over looking the Green. It was bright and airy and roomy, Now to the food. Had a prawn starter which was... More

We dined here on a Saturday night of St. Patrick's weekend. We were 2 couples with friends joining later for coffee. From start to finish all was perfect. The building is a lovely georgian centrally located with traditional decor. Our coats were checked on arrival and we had a cocktail in the front bar before dinner. We had the 7... More

Attention to detail, good value for that class of food and presentation. Similar to what I experienced in a fancy restaurant in the south of France. Loved everything and highly recommend. Some folks felt that everyone was whispering and they were in someone's house.

This was the perfect location for a 50th birthday lunch on a wintery Saturday in Dublin. All courses were perfect and moreover the service was warm but muted which I always find very welcome. Flawless and definitely worth a revisit.
