Strolling along the lower quays, in desperate need of a leak, I walked in to Pifko, a refurbished old Irish bar, regenerated as a Czech bar. It boasts a wide selection of Czech craft beers and, best of all, a real taste of Czech cuisine. Fish and chips and hamburgers are on the menu but the special of the day... More

I love trying different cuisines so we went to Pifko for some czech food. The portions are huge, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you want some traditional, amazing czech food, this is the place to be. Lovely staff and great value! Would come back for sure!

Guinness on tap, otherwise its mostly Czech Beers. The service was really good and its location is close to City Center, but far enough removed that you don't deal with the crowds.

I ordered the roast pork with dumplings, cabbage and gravy! The pork was poor, the cabbage was like slush and the dumplings was bread! The gravy was weird! My glass of coke however wasn't too bad!

Hi Mark, thank you for your recent visit. Im sorry to read that our Czech national dish"pork, cabbage and bread dumplings" did not hit the spot. I do, however, feel that you should distinguish between dish being ill prepared, and not being the way u expected/liked - its not served with traditional gravy, but with only juice from roasting, thickened... This was my friend and I's first dining experience of our trip to Ireland, and we were not disappointed. The food had a very fair price, perfect portion sizes, and was fresh and delicious! The wait staff was friendly as well. I'd recommend it!

I visited for a mid afternoon lunch, recommended by the bar tender at Frank Nash's pub just across the river liffy, and I chose the goulash in a bread bowl. It was savory, and hot with large chunks of mean and a goulash sauce that was so good I want to go back just for this dish. The dish was... More

I've heard about this place from my golfing buddy. So after a sunday game decided to check it out. When arrived the place was buzzing. We were pretty hungry after 18 holes, so went for a starter and main course. I've had a chicken broth soup with noodles. My buddy had the soup of the day which was recommended by... More

Stumbled on this pub while in the area..thought it was Irish until I entered. This Czech run place has great lunch deals and the waitress was very helpful in suggesting dishes. There also appears to be a huge selection of beers. I had a very tasty chicken and bacon wrap with home cooked fries..very tasty, greaseless and well presented and... More
