Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely casual dining spot in Camden St. Attentive staff and a very extensive menu, suitable for all tastes and diets. We began with a glass of Vendigorna and a Dingle gin while we looked hungrily at the menu.Everything sounded so delicious that we were...hard pressed to decide. Eventually we did! Five tapas;mushrooms with pisto, gorgeous meaty Portobello mushrooms with a generous savoury filling, sea bass on a bed of roast vegetables, hake, lightly battered, sublime goat's cheese drizzled with honey on a bed on spinach and cherry tomatoes with toasted almonds on the top. Some cubed potatoes with alioli complemented this feast. We left this restaurant very happy.More

Was there for a friend's birthday party on the top floor. Food was amazing, service was excellent, Gabriela was very friendly and looked after us very well. Looking forward to my next visit.

It was an amazing experience having my friend's birthday party at Cava's. We had a private (huge) space to accommodate a group of 35 people, foods and drinks were amazing (Gambas ao pil pil highly recommended) and the staff was lovely. Gabriela, the manager, is...lovely and made everything possible to make the day even more special. We are coming back for sure. Many thanks to you all.More

The food was very good and the atmosphere was good, unfortunately the girl waiting our table was very disinterested and unconnected and made our visit fair bit less enjoyable than it could have been.. I felt she was very indifferent to us being there. We...spent the guts of €200 it would have bee nice to feel more welcome.More

Myself and my partner went for dinner here on Sunday. Overall, the wine and food ordered were a great quality and enjoyed thoroughly. The wine was served approximately 5 minutes after all dishes were received which was not ideal but was manageable. However, I was...very disappointed when I explained to the waiter that the duck cannelloni was very bland and the texture was very unappealing and unappetising. We left this dish after a bite each. The experience went downhill when this was brought to the attention of wait staff, the response was "thanks so much for letting us know". However, no solution or remedy was offered. Assuming that the first server may have been busy or inexperienced in dealing with such issues, I brought this complaint/issue to another server who also didn't deal with the complaint and no resolution was offered such as a replacement dish or to have this one removed. The dish sat on the table for the remainder of the meal despite being highlighted to both staff of the inferior quality of the dish. It was disappointing to have what should have been an overall great dining experience be let down by the unhelpfulness of staff to deal with a relatively small matter.More

We really liked this tapas restaurant and we have had plenty tapas in our time. Everything we ordered was delicious. The wine menu was fabulous with a great choice. Staff were friendly. I don’t really get the last review! and I’m glad I ignored it...and went anyway. As usual with trip advisor, you have to read between the lines. Worth a visit.More

Not a place for an intimate conversation with your guest - because you wont be able to hear them (if even see them). This place takes the concept of Space Invaders to a new level. The tables (at least where we were on the top...floor) are so stacked together you can actually smell your neighbour's bad breath (as well as listenong to their loud voices). I'm all for communal experiences, but not on a night out. Food and service okay (drinks not so good) but - do you really want to listen to your adjoining guests achievements / woes - and have to pay for it? AVOID. There are better places in DublinMore

You'll be able to try many different dishes. We were seated quickly, food was brought out quite fast, and service was attentive. The menu was very comprehensive, indicating allergens and where vegetarian and vegan options could be provided. Great croquetas, and found their seared pork...belly delicious, but some vegetarian dishes were lacking in flavour.More

We went to Cava for our anniversary and we enjoyed a lot the experience! The place is cozy, the service is awesome and the food is delicious! It was our first time going to a tapas restaurant and we really enjoyed being able to eat...many different small dishes. We feel like the seats and space were a little bit short, especially for ordering various plates, but it didn’t affect our overall satisfaction. Between the dishes we ordered, our favourite were definitely the croquettes, the pil oil prawns, fried calamari and empanadas. For the deserts, we also really enjoyed the churros. We were a little bit disappointed with the scallops as we were expecting at least around 2 scallops in the plate, but it was only 1 and the rest of the dish was only a sauce. The pork ribs were also a bit disappointing as they were not very meaty. All in all, the restaurant is really nice for couples or groups of friends who’d like to chat while having some drinks and different dishes on the table to share.More
