About
Welcome to The Crafty Fox, a hidden den slightly off the beaten track. You will find us tucked away behind the hustle and bustle of Wexford Street on 37-38 Camden Row, Dublin 8. Meander your way to our back to basics bar and enjoy something not so basic from our carefully created menu. You’ll find cool, creamy pints to natter over in one of our comfortable open snugs. A menu of curious cocktails with a nod to the flavours of Ireland and which are perfectly balanced. We also have a selection of crafty beers and ciders to whet the palate while you wind down after a long day. If your prefer the great outdoors, then skulk out the back to our quaint outdoor terrace, affectionately known at The Potting Shed. There’s more open snugs to gather your leash, a garden swing seat and beautiful greenery. Through the Potting Shed, a surprise awaits you nocturnal beings - another door to amble through to a stunning, open space, full of life - The Botanical Garden at Opium.

My friend and I went here for drinks and some food just before Christmas. We got two of the house cocktails and pints, and the tofu yellow curry and Singapore noodles for food. The food was amazing and our waiter was an absolutely lovely gentleman, who was very accommodating and made great recommendations. We can't wait to go back!

I want go & this why One pub in Dublin is bucking the trend of rising prices by reducing the cost of a pint of Guinness by €1.40. Ronan Brady, General Manager of The Crafty Fox on Camden Row, told the Irish Independent they are taking the hit in the hope that more customers will visit the venue. A pint of Guinness will now cost €5, with management saying it’s for the people who are “tight for money as the cost of living has become too much”. “We’re taking the hit, it’s something we talked about for a good while. We think it’s worth it at this time,” Mr Brady said. “Our Guinness has gone up three times in the past year, it’s at €6.40 at the moment but we’re bringing it down to €5. “Everyone is a bit tight for money, the cost of living is a bit much at the moment. “We want to give something back to the people. We hope it works both ways, we hope it helps people and it helps business too. “Guinness isn’t the only beverage we’ll sell at €5. We’re also doing a craft beer as well for a fiver, there’ll be rotational craft beers,” he added.

lovely atmosphere, the food is cheap and super tasty! The barstaff knows their stuff and the outdoor seating is perfect for a sunny day.
