Visiting Dublin for several days and booked in for dinner (earliest table was 9pm which was a good sign), when we arrived the restaurant was very busy but the host at the door made us more than welcome.
We were seated just after 9pm, even though it was just a few mins after all staff were incredibly apologetic for us waiting.
Service was prompt and personal and the food was delicious. We ordered the sharing starter and a few curries for the main.
This place obviously has a name for itself so it’s worth you booking, and don’t be surprised if you need to wait after your booking time (but it’s worth it).
To the bloke Paul who rated this place 3 stars I’ve got a couple of points - learn to write in paragraphs and don’t leave a tip if you’re not happy.
To sum up great meal, great service, highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit with 6 other family members. The food was absolutely excellent - very fresh, excellent flavours and lovely atmosphere. The owners certainly took a risk when deciding to open a restaurant in this location and I’m delighted the risk has paid off - as someone who grew up locally and now live overseas I am very happy there is some quality and local which is doing really well. There is still room for improvement as we ordered two naan breads which never arrived (yet were on the bill) and the cubicle in the men’s toilet wasn’t clean (old toilet roll on brush and still there when I went in twice) so better and more regular check of this would help, nonetheless I still highly recommend this and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food - I will be back.

The restaurant has been busy each time I have visited, I have always booked in advance as I wouldn't risk arriving without a booking for fear of not getting a table. Food was delicious and service was great. Extensive menu, however not all items are listed, i.e. we asked for an adults chicken korma as it wasn't on the menu and our server told us we could have any main course on the menu with any meat. My children both love it, as do my husband and I. We have been back many times. Highly recommend

Dined here on a 730pm slot. Found service very rushed, extremely busy Friday evening and definitely just a very fast turnover slot assigned to every table. Food was nice. We ordered cocktails and wine. It wasn’t by any means cheap. Top price food. Just before 930pm we felt very pressurised to leave table as other clients awaiting at bar area on high stools. Bill presented very promptly and we were made feel uncomfortable . We got up and left at 935pm. One of my friends hadn’t even finished her glass of wine. Told we would get voucher for bar next door and get one complimentary drink. On arrival at bar, presented voucher but told we had to buy the first drink ourselves and whatever we ordered they would match with the same second drink on the voucher. If drinking mineral for first round the complimentary drink had to be a mineral. We were a bit surprised at this. Ordered and paid for our drinks which were expensive and then matched it with a same second drink on the house. We felt it was a bit underhand on behalf of the restaurant to treat clients in this manner, the whole dining procedure was rushed. We were just a number on a conveyor belt and had to move on once plates were cleared. Unfortunately, we were not overly pleased as we would have gone somewhere a bit nicer than the pub next door if we had known we had to buy our own drinks first.. We were a party of 4 and had paid top price for cocktails, wine, starters, sides and mains in the main restaurant plus decent tip. We had hardly digested our food when our bill was presented and we were courteously dismissed to the bar next door which is not very comfortable or welcoming . We all agreed food was good but after service was fairly shabby. Once you eat and pay you must leave this restaurant immediately as it’s so busy. Certainly not a restaurant to relax in, very loud and extremely busy.

Driven by the great reviews I tried this restaurant...3 times (take away, lunch and dinner) and the experiences have been pretty much the same.
Let's go in order though. The first thing I would like to highlight about this restaurant is how difficult to place an order for take away and to reserve a table.
For the take away i called at 4.30 to order my meal for 7osh only to be told that i had to call at 6.30ish and the person that answered the phone would not take my order. Last time I was there for dinner I called to reserve a table and I was told that I had to email them instead which I found very odd. So odd that I decided to call them back and required an explanation on why I had to send an email when I was already on the phone and taking the booking would have required less work for everyone.
I was eventually passed on to a different staff member whom took the booking.
About the food I can only say that it is unmemorable. Nothing of what I had from this restaurant stricked me as a great dish.
I had some nice dishes like the tandoori lamb chops and some bland dishes like their lamb shank curry.
Ultimately I think there are better pakistani restaurants in Dublin City centre for same price range.
It is a pity though as this is way closer to me than having to go all the way into town however, it is not worth the trip.

I never thought I liked Pakistani or Indian food. The only experience I previously had was in other local well known Indian and Pakistani restaurants which have very good reputations, I always felt they were over priced and received mediocre meals. But I can honestly say the meal I had in Taza was genuinely one of the most delicious meals I've ever had and felt the need to write a review. I went for the early bird menu which was 24 euro for 3 courses and fantastic value for what you get. I was also impressed with the interior design and layout. It's surprisingly spacious and modern, yet cosy. The service was impeccable, couldn't fault it at all! All my friends I was with agreed it was the best Pakistani and Indian food they had ever had. If you like Indian and Pakistani food, or like me you're open to being converted then I would highly recommend you trying Taza! I'm delighted to see that so many people agree with me and I wish the owners every success with this fairly new venture.

If you want high quality, delicious, and great value Indian food for a mid-range night out, you can’t do any better than Taza. It has been very highly-rated in several websites and with good reason. The food is incredibly tasty and unpretentious and delivers exactly what you want when you go to this kind of restaurant.
The only main negative I had was a noticeable blip in the service. We reserved a table months in advance during lockdown. We had two email exchanges with the management and they phoned twice to confirm. They never mentioned outside vs indoor booking, yet when we arrived they challenged us when we said they didn’t ask us if we reserved an outside or inside table. The manager was not friendly about this at all. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, however, since this was related to COVID restrictions and this is a difficult time for restaurant organisation. But still … better manners and customer service would have been appreciated.
On a better night, I’d be giving this restaurant 5 stars. So, don’t be put off. The food is great.

I’ve been to Taza three times over the last 6months and every time has been amazing. First time was with my husband and we both really enjoyed it. Second time was with the girls and we all had a wonderful experience. Most recent was with a family group and as always the food was exceptional, and the service was one of the best I’ve had in a restaurant. Food wise the star of the show is the mixed platter starter and for something new try the golgappa. Each time I’ve gone Farrah’s chicken Karahi has been out of this world. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Absolutely fantastic. We had a great evening with excellent food. Everything that was ordered was amazing . Presentation was beautiful. The staff are friendly and so helpful.
Good reasonable prices overall but watch the menu as some dishes don’t include rice etc and side orders are pricey.
Toilets not clean unfortunately.

We were delighted to revisit taza after they reopened and have a sit down meal again.
As a health care worker i was delighted to see a restaurant follow the public health guidelines appropriately.
Hand sanitizer on entry , temperature checks, contact details taken for tracing , social distancing between tables as well as staff wearing face masks.
Enjoyed our usual fare jhinga masala, lamb, fish curry and our chilli and corriander naan(not on the menu) and of course they made it spicy as usual on our request!!
Its worth mentioning too they looked after the hcw with takeaway meals during lock down which was very much appreciated. delighted to see you back open guys and wishing you every success in these strange times😀

We decided to dine at Taza after glimpsing the menu and going through Chef Arshad’s roots ( Karachiete).
We booked a table beforehand but were late due to motorway works. Faraz was ever adjusting and forgiving considering our journey from Belfast !
Our table was served by Kevin, very attentive , professional and beyond required standards for any 5 star server! Food was sublime , gollgappas were decorative and delicious . Nalee nehare was the star of the show , we finished it all. Chicken biryani was authentic, for anyone who really wants to know what a chicken biryani is should visit this place. Chatpata gosht was both tasty and spicy . For desserts we had gulab jaman, kulfee and chocolate cake with ice cream . All desserts are made fresh and full of flavour!! Chef Arshad even came out to chat to us ! We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and time spent at Taza restaurant . Strongly recommend going here for proper and authentic Pakistani food! We will definitely come here again , inshallah.
Thankyou team Taza!

I've been eager to suss out Taza having often walked by what seems to be a regularly busy restaurant. I've never had Pakistani food before and this was quite the experience.
The meal was one of the best we've ever had in Dublin. We were blown away by the freshness and flavours of the dishes. They have a very generous early bird and chef's tasting menu too.
A real stand out in Taza is the high level of customer service. All the staff including the manager were extremely friendly and helpful. Will be back in the next few weeks! My new local.

Finally got to visit here last night. The food certainly lives up to the hype. It was really amazing and €25 for the 3-course early bird menu is bonkers value. Will definitely be back to work my way through their entire menu. Super nice staff as well

was in this restaurant last night and had a superb experience. We ordered a wide range from the menu and everyone agreed it was all beautifully presented and tasted just amazing. The waiter Kevin was asked several questions about the menu and I was very impressed he was so knowledgeable about the dishes and even allowed us to order something that wasn't on the menu. He made great food all the better with his professional manner. On a side note they had adequate covid procedures in place. I would have no hesitation recommending this restaurant.
