Fantastic place to eat. Loved the layout. The fish starter and ribeye was simply top class. Our friendly Argentinean waitress was very pleasant and recommended the Argentinean Malbec. From start to finish I could not fault!

The meal was excellent - I had the Halibut special for main - really great, I had the hendricks Gin, the seafood starter - but best of all I watched Ireland beat the all blacks. Great night!

The service was great, the recommendations from the waiter were spot on, the beer was great. The quality of the meat was great, cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, the steak was FAR too over-seasoned. With food, drink and service this good, the meat can speak for itself and you should let it. This is the only reason I do not score... More

Great food and even better service. Very attentive young Argentinian waitress made service look effortless. Food was grand and excellently delivered and tasted Devine.

I'd give the steak 3 stars, the appetizers and desserts 4. We were a party of four, with two steak fanatics in our group. We all ordered steaks, two different cuts. The steaks were fine - cooked to medium-rare or medium as requested - but they were not extra-ordinary. We agreed that we'd cooked better steaks (also dry aged multiple... More

If it's steak or fish you're looking for then this is the place to go. Located in the suburb of Beggers Bush, this restaurant is top notch. Expensive but the quality and quantity of the food is exceptional. Highly recommended for couples, groups or for a family. Lunchtime is always busy. They have an extensive wine menu, along with the... More

Having only been to the Chophouse once before having dropped in for lunch recently I was pleasantly impressed by what I would consider to be one of the best steaks I have had in Dublin in a long time, if not ever. Though not usually the number one fan of ribeye, this steak was beautifully cooked and served with some... More

My husband and I were staying at a hotel down the street from the Chophouse. We had walked over looking for a place for dinner. The choices were a pizza restaurant, a pub which didn't actually serve food, or the chophouse. We walked into the chophouse which had a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. We were seated at a window overlooking the... More

On the higher scale for price, it's all worth it when the plates come... Extremely friendly service, very knowledgeable waiter (presented the raw piece of meat to the couples sitting around us to explain what was what), massive meat portions, fantastic meat quality prepared as requested (if asked to be rare it will be rare!). We couldn't fit a dessert... More

We go to the chophouse quite often and we never had any complaint about the restaurant. It is, indeed, a bit pricey (equivalent to the surrounding restaurants and other steak houses) but the food is always very good and right on spot as we order it. Joe and his team are always nice to us, the staff is very helpfull,... More
