Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was an outstanding meal and dining experience! My partner and I shared the tomahawk steak, bread, and a desert. We also enjoyed a number of whiskeys that were among the best we’ve had in Ireland. Joe and Dave were outstanding in making sure our...last dinner in Dublin was tasty and memorable. Until next time, cheers lads.More

The seafood chowder and Guinness treacle bread were so delicious, we had to come back another day with friends. We travelled all around Ireland for 3 weeks after that, and frequently ordered it, if it was on the menu, but never had better chowder or...bread.More

During one of my regular business trips to Ireland invited 4 colleagues for dinner. One of them recommended this restaurant and it was definitely a great recommendation. Food was really good, tasty, fresh, well prepared, delivered within a reasonable time. We had different steaks, and...one of my colleagues a salmon and everything was simply perfect. Nice wine too. Excellent value for money. Not cheap what you get very good food for what you pay. Special mention to the staff. Friendly and attentive. Literally 1 minute after they delivered to food to the table, one of my colleagues received an urgent business call, he had to step out and was on the phone for about 20 mins. The staff had the courtesy to take the plate back to the kitchen and keep it warm. When he was back they realized that his steak was too dry to they prepared a new one for him, which was not charged to us. This is a great example of good service, attention to detail and customer oriented attitude. No doubt that will visit this restaurant again.More

Dinner here was fantastic! From the mixed fish starter, to the creamy pumpkin soup and savory ceasar side salad, to the halibut and risotto meal, every bite was SO good. Such a great atmosphere and definitely worth the visit!

Walking tour of Dublin and this is a must stop for me. Staff are friendly and a good variety of ales and snack items with prices in line with most of the others. Can get busy but service always good and food arrives quickly.

When I dined I saw high chairs but don't think they have changing tables. As the restaurant has several stepped layers, wheel chair access is limited
