I dropped into The Chop House at lunchtime with no preconceived expectations - just wanted a quick lunch and was totally blown away by the experience. Having never been there before I half expected a "pub-lunch" but was wonderfully surprised by the attention of the...staff and by the high quality and sheer deliciousness of the lunch. I had the mixed fish platter which was beautifully presented and mouth-wateringly tasty, accompanied by the most deliciously nutty brown bread. There was also an extremely tasty tomato bread, flavoured with chili and fennel. The bread was presented when we sat down, which was a lovely touch for hungry diners. Our waiter had a very informative description of all the meals on offer and service was prompt and impeccable. My daughter had the prawn linguini which was top notch as well. The 5- star rating was definitely well earned by the manager, who was friendly, helpful and affable. On my next trip to Dublin, I will definitely seek this place out. Well done to all concerned.More

The Chop House in Dublin is a fantastic experience with great food. The specials on the night were well thought out and absolutely delicious. We went for a seafood platter between four of us for a starter - this was a good choice. Mains were...brilliant burgers and halibut. Lots of nice touches, for example drops of wasabi sauce on the plate. A great taste experience! This won't mean much in years to come, but the Covid restrictions were well handled, and we felt very safe. 5/5!More

After a shaky start of not having a table ready for us to sit at as previous customers had only just left, it turned out to be a lovely evening. The meals were very well cooked and presented . There was a decent choice in...each course too. There was a good time allowed between courses and the staff were very attentive, polite and courteous. The only downside was we had to sit on an outside location due to the Covid regulations and the tables were quite close to one another.More

Got a take away steak which was great. Chips were really good. Sauce and steak good. Happy to see they have expanded their collection menu. Only thing is that I wish I could specify how I want my steak cooked when i click and collect...but that is a minor detail.More

When I dined I saw high chairs but don't think they have changing tables. As the restaurant has several stepped layers, wheel chair access is limited
