This time we were more reasonable, no appetizers so that we could appreciate the steak and the sides. We had fries and creamed spinach. Save room for the strawberry ice cream. It is excellent. I don't think I have had better and I confess to...More

So following our visit here last December with the same group of friends, we decided to do a late Sunday lunch this time out. Same awesome service, same superb steaks. Cannot recommend highly enough. Best steakhouse in Dublin.

We try to avoid the chains, but comfortably made an exception here. FxB evolved from a butchery to a (maybe three?) chain steakhouse in Dublin. Our hotel concierge recommended it after we indicated we preferred a simple meat-based dinner near the hotel. FxB didn't disappoint....More

We got a last minute reservation. Staff was very friendly. Food was good but not outstanding. They cure the beef, but that something extra was missing - for the price.

Can't go to fx buckleys with getting a steak, and that's what everyone in my family got. The aesthetics are nice, very typical steakhouse vibe, cow oriented materials all over the walls, butchers cut maps, pelts etc... low lighting and nice ambiance. The menu is...More

We ate here as per a recommendation from my brother who lived in Dublin for business. I would give it 5 stars but we asked for medium rare and the steak was a bit too rare . I never like to send back food. Service...More

Hi , give them a ring, explain special occasion and enjoy. With all the excitement meeting family I am sure they will be talking very loud and won't notice the other customers. Have a ice time.😀

Dublin's original steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25 years of serving the perfect steak. We change our menus each season to reflect the best that Irish produce has to offer and to ensure the highest quality of local fresh seafood. We offer an informed wine list to meet all budgets and an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits. We are also open for weekday for lunch serving health and tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. The way in which we guarantee the highest quality in beef in both texture and flavour is by choosing Irish beef and the highest grade of traditional breeds of cattle. At F.X.BUCKLEY our prime cuts are hung on the bone at 4°C and at 80% humidity for a minimum of 28 days. Storing meat for several weeks where it can loose up to 16% of it's weight involves considerable expertise so all F.X.BUCKLEY butchers are specifically trained for the process. The benefit for our patrons is to experience the concentration and saturation of natural meat flavours and superior tenderness. Hence why you will hear experts use terms such as "buttery and rich", and "earthy and nutty" to describe our dry-aged beef.
