My wife and I had our wedding meal here and the food and the service was perfect. We had 65 guests and the whole meal was run to perfection. Jeremy was great as a contact during all of the set up and everyone really made sure that all our guest had a fantastic experience. The menu for the meal was very reasonable and the quality of the food was far above what you would get in other city centre venues for similar if not more money. The cocktail that we sneaked away for at the end of the meal was great too :) This place is a great spot for an event, a meal or even just drinks. Any excuse to come back!

We had booked in advance for a latish lunch and were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. We were served by the loveliest youth woman from Hungary who deserves a special mention ( unfortunately we didn’t get her name) ..her English was so good we thought she was Irish! We were served complimentary sourdough bread with butter, oil and balsamic vinegar and allowed to peruse the menu. The food was very very good! I chose the beetroot and goats cheese which was all delicious with three types of beetroot...a very generous portion. My husband enjoyed his mussels and loved the creamy sauce. My main of risotto also was delicious. Sadly we were unable to sample desserts as we were all to full! The house red was very good as was the house white (€22bottle) so definitely not being ripped off... will return soon!

Pichet was on our list of places to try in Dublin and it did not disappoint. It was clear on the website that they are taking Covid measures seriously and this is also true in house. I saw a staff member wipe down door handles and sanitizer stations so we were at ease and able to relax and enjoy our meal for a birthday celebration. The restaurant has a really nice contemporary bistro feel that I haven't experienced elsewhere in Dublin to date. We were really happy with our three courses and cocktails and would love to come back to try one of the beef specials for two.

From when we arrived, we experienced dismissive, ageist rude service and very unwelcoming attitude. We were seated at a very small table for 3 people, we requested a larger , more comfortable table to accommodate a shoulder injury, only to be offered a larger chair. None of our choices on the wine list were available, no advice or help was offered, just a very nice waiter, emphasising it was his first week. We eventually got our starters, mackerel very over cooked, and over an hour after ordering, our mains. Plates were reminiscent of school dinners, mash, kale, shallots, jus, sauce, beef all piled high on a small, cold plate, certainly not 'clean food'. Cod, again, was overcooked and over salted. Desserts were a mishmash of commercial products, a cold doughnut and ile flottante with caramelised glaze? We paid an exorbitant bill, left without any thanks on behalf of management, feeling very disappointed. The restaurant was not busy, plenty of staff, but attitude was appalling. We left very disappointed.

Had dinner with my wife recently, very disappointing.my starter was very good,a terrine served with avery good homemade bread.,she had the artichoke soup which was also very good.unfortunately the main course of suckling pig was a complete let down.a small piece of braised pork belly@ €28.my wifes stone bass with a bouillabaisse sauce was overpowering in a liquorice liquid!!!,far from a proper bouillabaisse.portion sizes were were completely ridiculous and way overpriced. Never again!!!!!

We went here for my birthday. I was so excited. I always walk by on nights out but I’ve never been in. The servers are excellent so I couldn’t fault them. It was one of those posh places that does small portions and charges allot of money. The food was mediocre. I wasn’t impressed. Also where you dine looks like a nice lunch cafe but doesn’t look so nice for evening dining. It didn’t wow me so I won’t be back.

I really wanted to love Pichet. My partner and I try to eat at one Michelin rated restaurant on every trip and this was our choice for Dublin. And I have to say, the food and service were lovely. The staff was very attentive and never let our water or wine glasses get empty. The housemade focaccia was divine and we shared a starter of the Jerusalem artichoke that was so delicious I wanted to lick the plate (I didn't.) My partner got the lamb and I got the mushroom risotto and they were both fantastic. The problem was, in the 90 minutes it took us to get our starters and entrees, the restaurant filled up. We were in the back room and there were three groups of 6-10 people along with several tables of 2-4. Their wine was also flowing and the groups got so loud that we couldn't even hear ourselves talking, despite sitting next to each other. We ended up leaving before dessert and coffee because of the volume, which kind of put a damper on the entire meal.

Our first post lockdown lunch and it couldn't have been better thanks to the team at Pichet. They have a great menu and all the food was really delicious, fresh quality ingredients treated respectfully by the chefs, complimented with a beautiful white house wine. The atmosphere is a lovely relaxed yet buzzy vibe and the team couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. Everything about the experience was enjoyable and made me keen to return soon....

Without a doubt, Pichet is the best restaurant in Dublin city and created some of the best food I have ever had the pleasure of consuming. It was so good, we went multiple times on our week long work trip/vacation from the States, foregoing previous reservations. The staff was incredible, with stand out waiters like Dominic and Ante showing us true hospitality in service. The stand out foods were the short rib, halibut, and cabbage, with the easy street being far and away my favorite cocktail ever. The prices were incredibly reasonable, especially for the value and quality, shocking to my friend and I, we could have spent easily double in Seattle or Portland where we are from. There is not enough good things I can say about Pichet and it will be my first meal every time I come to Dublin from now on.

Pichet was the most comfortable restaurant with artfully prepared cuisine that we visited in Dublin. The room is packed with the unmistakable hum of happy diners diving into amazing food. The cuisine takes advantage of the best ingredients Ireland has to offer, but the meat and seafood main dishes are certainly the showstopper with beautiful presentation. We booked several weeks ahead of our wedding anniversary trip, and we were treated to a beautiful table and warm, friendly service. We would be at Pichet every month if we lived in Dublin, because it offers great value, delicious food, and welcoming atmosphere. Don't miss this it!!!

The staff are very attentive and professional. The food was excellent, so many wonderful flavours in each well thought and executed dish. I can recommend the beef short rib and the pumpkin soup for staters, they are both 10/10. The mains of venison and pork were also beautiful with excellent flavours and very well presented. My only moan and it didn’t really affect us or put us out was the wait between stater and main nearly 45minutes! This is a must visit if you’re in Dublin looking for a casual dinner of excellent quality.

Family dinner to celebrate a birthday and it could not have been better. Thank you! The service was fantastic and we have a severe nut allergy and for the first time we felt safe eating out. It was amazing. The service was fantastic. The wine recommendations were great and the deserts out of the world. We had the sharing dishes and it was great. We will be back for the next occasion

We were there as a couple for lunch. We made our booking by telephone, which was an easy process. Staff greeted us on arrival, offered us a choice of tables and provided us a seat at the bar while they prepare our table of choice. The lunch menu has a nice selection of items available. We opted for the two course e set for 34.00 euro. Our waitress for the afternoon was friendly and attentive, discussing the menu and assisting us with our choices and without being intrusive, attended our table to top-up our wine and check if we had everything we needed. We were provided with some bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar while we settled in and waited for our starters to arrive. Our starters were; Goats Chees, Jerusalem artichoke, Roscoff Onion, Pear, Pickled Walnut and the Glazed Beef Short Rib, Parmesan Agnolotti. We were delighted the presentation and flavours of both. Our mains were Glazed Venison Shoulder, Celeriac and Honey, Oyster Mushroom, Blackberry, Thyme and the Chargrilled Striploin of Aged Grass Fed Beef, Charred Broccoli ‘Caesar, Chips. We felt like we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal. The surroundings are pleasant, we were able to relax and felt comfortable. There is a good wine menu and a variety of cocktails or beers are also available. We enjoyed our visit expect we will return.

Excellent cuisine with outstanding service staff. Well prepared main dishes served hot with mouthwatering reception. Mussels delicious, the wife prefers a more traditional garlic/wine approach vice tomato/spice. The bread served with the mussels was delicious .
