About
La Maison is the latest venture of Breton chef Olivier Quenet. In April 2009 he transformed his French cafe and boulangerie, La Maison des Gourmets, into a simple yet chic restaurant where he aims to continue his dedication to Irish people eating affordable freshly prepared produce. The menu is a well thought out selection of French dishes; huitre (fresh oysters), plateau de pates du jour, poele de la mer, tarte provencal and cote de boeuf to name but a few of the wonderful choices on offer. Upon arrival diners will be welcomed by the Maitre d'hotel,His high expectations ensure that the service is impeccable with sparkling glassware, starched linen napkins yet all the while remaining relaxed

We decided to have an early dinner, and we walked by and decided to try the bistro. Really good move. Attentive service, food prepared just right. La Maison is as good or better than any of the many bistros I have tried throughout France. A...real winner.More

Me and my friend came here on a Saturday night desperate to have dinner somewhere and, after checking the reviews, we found this little spot in temple bar. The service was five star, they welcomed us inside even if it was already 9pm (kitchen closing...at 10pm) and they gave us a little spot. The food was amazing, we both had the soup of the jour (butternut squash soup), scallops and sweet potato gratin. Everything was amazing but we fell in love with the warm soup that, for a starter, was quite a big plate !! So that’s a plus. I’ve also ordered a creme brûlé and that was good too. I would definitely recommend and come back when in DublinMore

Fabulous food (probably the best steak I’ve had in years), beautiful drinks, relaxing ambiance and friendly staff. Will making La Maison a regular haunt on our trips to Dublin.

The food we ate here was just divine. We had the arancini, pork belly, the braised short rib of beef and a creme brûlée. The beef in particular was incredible - so tender and flavourful. The staff were brilliant and attentive. I would 100% come...back if I were in Dublin.More

Lovely, intimate restaurant with small dinning rooms. We had scallops, cote de boef and black dover sole and all was excelent. Service was great without being intrusive, the wine surgested was perfect for the steak and was decanted. Well done La Maison!

I went with my wife for lunch on a Thursday. We were inside. The menu was short but sufficiently diverse. Our starter to share was scallops. I cannot understand why they serve 3 for 2 people. Maybe, it makes sense to pay per unit. Well,...the scallops were astonishing delicious. Honestly, the best scallops I have ever tasted. Our main courses were a risotto and a ribeye steak with a red wine. The meat was a high quality tender meat, very well cooked, served with fries. Finally, a creme brulee and an expresso. I strongly recommend the scallops to anyone who read this. Enjoy!More

Daughter and I visited for lunch on Thursday. Place was far from full, but given Covid malarkey there was an element of huffing around whether there was a table free. All sorted in pretty swift time, and that was the end of the huffing. Superb...service, outstanding food. Pork shoulder croquette to start was outstanding, with excellent slaw and great apple jelly (could have had a bit more of the jelly). Excellent fish. Daughter loved the chicken. Strong, and accurate, guidance to go for creme brulee to finish rather than chocolate ganache. Wine list with Loire Chenin Blanc on it rather than Sauvignon Blanc - what's not to like. Emerged out into a rain free afternoon full, content and very happy. Thank you.More

I believe they have a full license as I had a glass of Armagnac.
