The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a truly French style, creating a great atmosphere. The servers are highly professional, attentive, and extremely helpful. We’ve visited this restaurant multiple times and have always been well taken care of, both by the staff and through the quality of the meals. The value for money is excellent.
As a French person, La Maison is undoubtedly one of my top French restaurants.

Lovely, easy, relaxed lunch, big welcome, great location, all perfect when we arrived, and wonderful people watching.
Service was prompt and efficient, affordable wine list
We got olives, pesto, crusty bread, served by cheerful, knowledgeable waiter, then excellent duck confit, with bacon and lentils. Duck was tender and crispy, accompanimg mash rich and buttery, simple French cuisine, well executed and professionally served.
Complimentary chocs, reasonable bill, we left very happy and will be back soon.
Thank you

We celebrated a colleagues retirement at La Maison. We booked an upper room for 18 which was ideal as we needed to make speeches.
Bread with fresh pesto and olives were on the table while we ordered from a set menu for groups, catering for every one. Carpaccio, coquilles st Jacques and soup followed by steak, duck breast, gnocchi and fish, followed by excellent crème caramel, cheese or rhubarb compote and coffee. The wines Viognier and primivito were excellent.
The service was friendly and efficient and the meal was very good value.
Well worth a visit

Fancy place to celebrate event. Nice ambiance. Spacious sitting. Dishes were served with great presentation. We tried most of the dishes Onion Soup, Scallops, Sole fish of the day, Apple Blackberry Crumble, Creme Brule. My fav was Creme Brule. The service by our server Joseph was top notch. The only down sides was that place was bit pricy for how it tasted. For that price I was expecting some great flavours in my mouth like I have experience at other places. Also the food portion was very small. 74 euros for a sole fish sharing for two and it tasted okayish and also very small quantity.

13 colleagues for lunch.
Sat down at 2 and ordered set menu for €50 3 course
Waited 40 minutes for starters (soup was served 10 minutes after all other starters and guests had finished eating starters - they waited for 5 mins for all starters to arrive and as a consequence, their food went cold)
Waited another 40 minute for mains. My cod was raw.. nobody came to check if food was good. Desert was served at 3.50pm as my plate was removed to make way for desert
The lady asked me if my food was good, I told her the cod was raw and he had an attitude.. her response was “I will inform the chef” .. after almost two hours in the place I didn’t have any appetite for a new fish so I told her to take off the bill.. which I don’t believe she did. She had a bad attitude
Terrible service, nobody was attentive .. didn’t ask if we wanted tea or coffee and the chef should probably go work in a sushi bar
Stay away from this overpriced place, food is terrible and service is even worse

Exceptional food , great atmosphere and superb service . We shared the poisson de jour which was Dover sole . The fish was taken off the bone at our table and cooked to perfection . Sides of roast baby potatoes and baby gem lettuce were generous and we addd a side of sautéed greens washed down with some Chardonnay. Our waiter was very attentive and very helpful . A lovely night can’t wait for a return visit .

Basically semi-stumbled across this place as we were looking for something that had availability on a Friday night. So glad we did.
We had the French onion soup, duck confit salad, lamb chops and the black sole special. Everything was not just good but superb and the waitstaff was excellent at giving us some really meaningful recommendations after asking a few questions.

We had lunch there for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes offered and the choice of wines.
We therefore booked for the next evening and arrived 10 minutes before the time of our reservation.
There were two of us, there was a table of two outside, not ideally located but it would have suited us. There was no mention that it was reserved,
Yet the manager told us that it was not possible to dine outside as we could only dine inside. He did not offer to come back a little later and had no attention or explanation
End of not receiving firm and without appeal.
So to have so little regard for your customers when doing this job is a shame.
An establishment that seems to rely more on the flow of tourists than on the quality of the welcome ...

Beautiful little restaurant with heated terrace. Staff made us feel very welcome and made every effort to ensure out comfort. Nice menu that suited our picky trio, I had the scallops and venison. The venison was delicious! My two companions had the duck croquette and burrata with roast vegetables. Beautiful presentation. Great wine. I really couldn't fault this place. For 2 early birds and 1 a la carte, bottle of wine, cheese board and port it came to 180 pre gratuity which for the standard and service was great value. It was our first time here but certainly wont be our last!

The staff was very friendly. They managed to get 7 of us into the restaurant when we didn’t have a reservation. The wine was wonderful but the beer selection was minimal. The food was excellent. My husband and I both had Coq au vin. Two in our group shared the Dover Sole. I was a very enjoyable meal made extra special by the waiters who took their time with us.

Booked a late setting, 9pm on a Saturday night. The upstairs dining area which is split in two was lovely and peaceful despite being full. I had arranged to meet an old friend therefore it proved the perfect setting to converse. Service was a little slow to start off and we did have to request some bread and dips. There was an abundance of fish on the menu. I opted for scallops for starter. They were beautifully presented on seashells however it was quality over quantity. For mains I went with the steak option which I asked to be medium/well done, however it looked more rare in parts as I cut into it, My friend's duck was extremely tough and difficult to chew therefore she struggled and ate less than half of it.
I wrapped up my meal with a very pleasant cheeseboard. All in all it was a nice experience and I would score it seven out of ten on the night. Thankfully we mentioned the issue with the duck and it did not appear on our bill which we were grateful for. Definitely will give this place another shot but perhaps mid week when they are less busy.

We visited as a party of six for dinner.
Such a lovely experience! The service was exceptional. The servers were attentive, proud of the offering, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Delightful cocktail list of well-executed classics. Similarly, the menu featured uncomplicated French classics. Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and main courses; duck was perfectly cooked, as was a steak, and the onion soup was just what you wanted on a cold evening.
A really nice evening of great hospitality, from the service to the food.

Our evening was fabulous -quality of the food, ambiance, understated professionalism of the staff, La Maison is the complete package. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, we never felt rushed throughout our meal.
Shout out to wonderful Valentina, who answered all of our questions about the menu and recommended a wine I would not have chosen myself, but was spot on for the meal we had.
Of course, it is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Many other establishments would do well to learn from what La Maison is doing!

Dreadful Exceptionally slow service even though there was one other table occupied. It seemed like an hour.
We ordered 2 main course scallops and 1 cod Cod excellent.
We were served 2 starter size scallops, 3 each, a wedge of lemon and three quite big slices of dry of toast. Presentation was woeful 2 of my scallops were excellent but 1 just ok

We shared a whole black sole, which I think is called Dover sole in Britain. It came with simply dressed small potatoes and leaf salad.
My companion, an expert, said she'd never had better vinaigrette. A small example of how well judged and harmonious everything was, from ingredient quality to length of cooking of the fish. A simple but really memorable dish.
We were given complimentary tasty bread, pesto and olives. The wine list had enough by the glass offerings, including less common ones. Service was respectful, warm and efficient. Mid range prices.
La Maison was really everything you (well,I) want in a restaurant. Loved it
