We happened upon the place when looking for something to eat and so glad we did. It was very busy, but seating wasn’t a problem. The steak sandwich was just perfect and the service was quick and friendly. The perfect spot for a post zoo...feed!More
The restaurant is full of charm. Staff were very quick to seat us despite there being 7 of us without reservations, Very friendly service. Very very very good food. Wish there were more restaurants like this.
The inside is much bigger than you'd expect! Even though it was super busy the staff was on point, friendly and well organized. Great pub grub options. We had the roast of the day, which was juicy bacon wrapped chicken, the nacho's, which could have...fed a whole rugby team and the fish cakes. The latter lacked a bit in flavour but had great texture and was a surprisingly big portion. Would definitely go again as the food we saw leaving the kitchen, was mouth watering.More
5 stars We arrived late evening in Dublin and was looking for a place to eat and have a drink we came across this bar and was pleasently surprised by the old world interior and great staff. We ordered the cod but instead of the...chips we asked if we could have mashed potato and veg. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal the gravy with the potato was so good and we asked for a bag to bring left over fish etc as too much to eat at 1 sitting.More
Nancy’s is a local gem. The food is excellent and has got better. Love hanging out here great quality and friendly service. The sweet potato soup is the best in Dublin. The food currently is excellent and can’t recommend enough.
I would highly recommend visiting Nancy Hands if you have the chance. The pub has great history and is only a stones throw away from phoenix park.
The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
The food is...amazing I would recommend the chowder, but my whole family left happy with what we’ve they ordered.
Beautiful venue and would have no problem recommending this to my friends and family.
Will visit again.More
Total neglect , had a lovely family day at Dublin zoo , went into here for food/drinks , we sat down and had to watch the staff passing by us without any offer of any menu or drinks, when we eventually asked for a menu...it came stained and not presentable at all , we watched staff take food from a customer because their other parties food wasn’t ready , unorganised staff. Don’t think I will returnMore
Dublin Airport us approx 15 to 20 minutes away by Taxi but this of course is highly dependent on the time of day. At rush hour it is a lottery but by evening time it's much easier to get about Dublin.
I assume you mean the pub.
Being in Dublin, not much is air conditioned - not needed in a cool climate. But while we were at Nancy Hands we saw no indication of AC
