I was looking forward to my return visit for afternoon tea as I had been before and really enjoyed it and recommended it to a number of friends and family...unfortunately that was not the case today. I found the food below average and am seriously disappointed. I will not be booking here again.

This was some of the best food we have had on our stay in Ireland. The staff were over the top friendly and accommodating. We had the Caesar salad with chicken and the burger and fries. The Caesar salad was crisp and the chicken was delicious. The burger was one of the best I have ever had. The piece was... More

Knights Bar is full of character and looking at all the architectural designs will keep you from getting board while waiting on your dinner. Food was absolutely excellent. We didn't order anything extraordinary but what we had was delicious. Dessert was our favorite part and was definitely a work of art. Service was a bit slow but that's because they... More

Great place to eat and have a couple of drinks. Food is great and service fast. Our Server, Karen, was great. Friendly, attentive, quick to help and nice.

The fish was my favorite, however, NOTHING was bad. We ate a dinner there when we first arrived. I got fish and chips and my sister got a burger. It was one of the best meals. They also have amazing drinks. Everything at reasonable price. We ate there for lunch one day and had an amazing waitress, Karen. She was... More

Wife and I came late just for dessert. Our waitress was a little off of her game. In her defense, she likely had a rough day and it was Mothers Day (so it was busy). I got the butterscotch/Banana sundae. Pretty good but the spoon was too big to get to the bottom of the narrow glass. We felt like... More

Came into Dublin a bit late today and decided to stay at the hotel for dinner. To our great surprise the food was fantastic! Had the steak Sandwich and focaccia and dip. Karen was super friendly and very quick to bring out Irish coffees! Definitely a place we will come back to!!!!

We visited the bar on Sunday for lunch, hadn't been in a while and expected nice food given the quality of the hotel. The first thing I was surprised at was the lack of healthy choices on the menu - it had burgers, sandwiches, fish in batter, pasta in creamy sauce and curry and a few salads all with sauces. The... It was busy! Make a reservation. Totally worth the wait though since all 6 of our meals were absolutely fantastic and we had great service also!

We ate here several times while staying at the hotel. The food was good, reasonable and the bar is part of the old castle. The decor is very castle like.
