Arrived in the travelodge after a late night flight found a Halfway House some 800 metres from the hotel good name because this part of Dublin seemed somewhat short of pubs. Lovely pub almost refined with a reasonably priced Guinness with professional staff and pleasant clientele. Recommended

It's a lovely, cosy place with lots of nooks to find a place to sit. Ordered off the bar menu and even the light bites (I had chicken tenders) were good size portions and nice quality. Good & friendly service. Nice to see a staff member giving an older man on his own some help. Adjacent to the Mulberry Restaurant... More

When i do go for food in this place i never go with the intention of getting a fantastic meal. I dont really think this place is about that though. Its always a good bit of craic and come away with full bellies . I will be back .

Nice pub, quiet and cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Tap selection is just the usual, would like to see more craft beers served on tap. Some live music would definitely live up the place.

Visit here regularly! Very well situated, close to popular bus routes and ashtown train station, ideal for pints/a quick bite to eat before heading into the city centre. Lovely carvery food at very reasonable prices! Mulberry Restaurant is also there for which offers an extensive la carte dinner menu! Highly recommend popping in for a pint!

It's very spread out with lots of hidden areas and alcoves so you'll find somewhere you like no matter if you are here for a quiet pint or watching big screen football. The carvary is super and the portions would feed a builder!! Nice n' big. The bar staff are experienced and seem to be very professional. Some bars pay... More

I work in Gowan Motors so the Half Way House at the Ashtown Roundabout is handy at lunchtime. They have a carvery with hot food and a sandwich bar. The quality is good and the staff are great. They have a restaurant but I think it only open evenings and weekends. They do great business and it's a lovely building... More

€8 for 2 baby bowls.... ridiculous !! Other well know establishments don't charge for baby bowls red cow, lawyers etc... most I've ever paid €1,50. Not very attractive to family's with young children.
