We went there for dinner. The place is nice, food is delicious and the service is outstanding. We loved it here. They recommended a good wine for the see food and it was a good recommendation. It is worth going there.

What you get here is possible to elswhere - at a lower price. Beware of the mediocre fish pie for 26 EUR. But the worst thing was the waiter clearly wanting us to be finished, order some more, and get out. Literally running around us...and pushing with questions like “are you finished yet?”. And our entire stay was 1,5 hours, so it’s not that we blocked the table forever. Finally, the air conditioner did blow very cold air - and the temperature outside was 21 C. I have hesitated to leave this review but out of principal I have to. To start off this was my second visit. I visited here in June 2022 (see previous review). I have raved about Sole since I visited last. Unfortunately, this visit was not...the same. We ordered the captains seafood tower as it was amazing on my first visit. I was really disappointed this time round. The lobster did not taste fresh. It was like chewing on a flip flop. The crab toes tasted like they were cooked from frozen. The prawns on the lower tower did not taste fresh either. The broth on the top part of the tower was curdled, which we brought to the attention of the waiter. He defensively said they use fresh double cream. Why was it curdled? It tasted really terrible. Like a milk broth, no garlic flavour & had a particular terrible smell. The crab claws were amazing, the oysters were perfection. But, very, very disappointed with the rest of the tower. The manager was there on the night & the waiter we spoke to about our disappointment said that he needed to speak to the manager about us not wanting to pay the full price of the tower as we could not eat most of it. (Adding this in, so there isn’t a token comment from the manager asking to contact him, I have no interest in dining here ever again) Our bill was still €186 The waiter offered a new seafood tower. I don’t know about anyone else, but, once you taste seafood that’s not 100% you are not going to want anymore seafood. Really disappointed as this was for a birthday treat.
