Service was a bit slow. It was highly embarrassing because we had paid the bill with a sizeable tip not only that I was followed outside the restaurant to be questioned if we paid the bill by saying “I believe your bill wasn’t sorted”, then...I get a apology when I presented the receipt. They should have not done that and looked at the booking record to ensure that the bill was paid before approaching us.More

Had booked this for our last evening after a 4 day trip. Service was very slow. Gave up on dessert as waiter disappeared. Husband had crab linguine which was mostly pasta and I had the pork cutlet. The meat itself was lovely and tender but...the sauce was very salty and the cabbage accompanying it was bitter. Such a shame as the venue itself is unique.More

I dined in Da Robertas with a party of nine on Saturday the 18/2/23 While the food was pretty good and reasonably priced the service was very poor. Three of our party ordered Pizzas and these were served about 10 minutes after the other main...courses were served. Also the Pizzas were not properly sliced and the table knifes were not suitable for cutting pizzas. This resulted in people struggling to slice their pizzas. We also brought a birthday cake with us which we left with the staff at reception. When we had the main course finished we requested a staff member to bring out the birthday cake it took over 30 minutes and two further requests before the cake was finally brought to our table. While the staff were friendly there clearly were not sufficient staff rostered to manage a busy Saturday night.More

Went here for the first time yesterday evening and will definitely return. The food and the atmosphere was very good and the service was excellent. Our server Fionn was fantastic - friendly, funny and professional! I had the goats cheese ravioli to start with and...then the hake for the main and both were superb. SHOCKING was at a wedding here in mid December the day itself was fantastic but after the dinner the evening staff were horrible on talking to several people who where at the wedding they all had the same experience being that when they where up...dancing on returning to their tables there drink was gone when they complained the manager threatened to on one group throw them out on another close the wedding down on another he sent a member of staff to get the bride involved and on myself told my brother the father of the groom I racially abused him after i caught him taking my pint my sons pint and my wife’s half bottle of wine which was a clever ploy as I ran away from that very quickly even though to me he looked Italian I left this go for over a month to try calm down but still ferocious about it shocking behavior from staff and especially management Ps the day staff food and everything where 10/10 just don’t have an event hereMore

The restaurant is in a beautiful building and it has a nice buzz about the place. Staff were good and friendly. I ordered the Pappardelle, Braised Beef Ragu, Balsamic Shallots and Aged Pecorino for the main and it was a plate that was 95% pasta...with at least half going uneaten as I got fed up just eating pasta towards the end. My girlfriend ordered the Orecchiette Le Melanzane, Grilled Eggplant, Tomato, Burrata and Basil and when the waiter took her plate away it also had a lot of pasta remaining that she thought was undercooked. Won't be back as the area has plenty of restaurants and they need to get the main course somewhat balanced rather than filling us up with the cheap ingredients to maximise their profits. The interior, atmosphere and minestrone soup are worth 2 of the 3 stars.More

We came here as a group of four whilst visiting Dublin. Was 100% my favourite pit stop. The booze was good, the food was good and the surroundings were just beautiful. Our wonderful waiter, Feon - made our brunch for us! We will be back...❤️More

We had booked a table for 9 people (company trip) and there was some issues with the booking so we called and emailed several times to get it confirmed, so actually the problem started already there. Then when we came they could not find our...booking and was extremely rude, even aggressive. We showed the booking confirmation we had but they told us it was booked for the day after. When I asked them to really look info this they was really aggressive and blamed us for their issues and their really poor internal systems. My colleagues who where with me was shocked of the behavior of the staff greeting us and I have never been treated this bad in any restaurant ever. We finally got a table and the food was great and our waiter was supernice and friendly so no shadow shall fall on the chef of the waiter, as that was great. But people who greets the guest should at least have some manner. I was also so shocked so I did not bring it up more at the time I was there as I did not want the whole evening ruined. But unfortunately the food could not change the fact of the really poor greeting and start we got so I have to give this place a bad review.More
