Of our 10 day trip to Ireland, this is definitely the best meal we had. Front to back, every course we had was fantastic. The service was also by far the best we had on our trip. I would highly recommend Mr. Fox to locals...More

I went to Mr Fox for my fiance's birthday. I had very high expectations having heard great things. We were disappointed in many aspects of the meal. A quick run down to follow. The entrance hall feels like a school corridor. We were sitting strangely...More

Nice place - under sold somewhat and not at all pretentious or awkward. Food was great and price not too bad either. Would certainly visit again

Prompt service, decor a bit cold and dark, but excellent house wine at v good price sooner warmed things up. Starter disappointing it was essentially deep fried which wasn't described on menu . Mains good. Would return.

From the staff to the food, Mr Fox was an outstanding experience. The menu gives you a lot of variety not seen in many other Dublin restaurants and the quality of the food was second to none. Can’t wait for my next visit.

The staff are very attentive and service is excellent. We were a party of 9, and the servers knew exactly what we had all ordered, and nobody ever had an empty glass in front of them. The food is fabulous and the serving size is...More

I work around the corner but did not realise this absolute gem existed until I went looking on TripAdvisor for somewhere special. The occasion was a retirement lunch for a colleague. The experience was very special indeed and was enjoyed immensely by all attendees. The...More

Enjoyed a superb lunch with work colleagues here today, food was delicious, service excellent, beautiful ambiance. Seating arrangement done well, one of my pet peeves is a restaurant where people are sitting on top of one another, not so here, very well spaced out. The...More

Service was great, setting was nice, food was pretty good. We especially enjoyed the parmesan fondue for the bread. And the staff was very tolerant of our 'it's on me!" "No, I've got it!" antics.

Absolutely fantastic - I stumbled across this looking up its sister restaurant, The Pig's Ear, and I'm very glad that I did. Food, wine and service were exceptional - delicious, well though-out and well presented dishes, and a great, central Dublin dining room.

Very popular location in my experience so suggest if you want to be sure then give it 2 weeks minimum - other factor is the day you choose - if a Friday then probably need more time to be sure - worth planning for
