Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are many places to get coffee near Grand Canal but this is my favorite. It is properly hot which is especially important during the winter months. The pain au chocolat are extraordinary with just the right amount of the best chocolate. But make sure...to get there early as they sell out quickly. If you miss them do not despair because their soups are just as wonderful. And despite what another reviewer said, I live nearby and the service is always with a smile and attention to detail. If you have not tried A Table, please do you will not be disappointed.More

Ordered a chicken salad - very small. Dressing pot contained a drizzle. A child's portion. Very bland. They charge extra for a splash of milk in coffee and tea. Get much better and more food for same price or less in neighbouring cafes

I would normally not write a review about a coffee shop, but..... We were having lunches in this place quite often, as it is only few meters away from our work and there is a place to sit outside in case if you are a...dog owner. We've decided to come to this place for a quick coffee break today. My friend ordered sandwich and coffee there and we decided to sit outside. I have already bought some food in another place , but since my friend really wanted to go to "A Table" I thought it would be ok if I'll have my food, while she is eating hers. We've been approached by exceptionally rude member of staff, who educated us that despite the fact that my friend bought food in A Table , I didn't, and I have to buy something or I have to leave. So I did.. bought a tea that I didn't want, in order to let my friend finish her food there and not destroy the lunch that, to be honest, was already ruined by that was point. While waitress was taking away a tea, she educated me in front of all people around, that I have to make sure to take all rubbish away after myself. To be fair, it is quite nice place with OK coffee, and every single place has there own rules - this is absolutely understandable. But sometimes, it's not what you say, It's how you say It? Right? Bottom line - would not go there again, and would not recommend it to anybody.More

Searching for a Sunday breakfast place we ended up at this place in the Docklands. Quite a walk from our hotel, but completely worth the walk. So, we also ended up there on Monday. Coffees are great, food is delicious. We had the pancakes with...yoghurt and the scrambled eggs both days. Be sure to try the latte with syrup. And to top it all up, also the staff is very friendly and helpful.More

My husband, teenage daughter and I stopped at A Table for a late Sunday breakfast on our last morning in Dublin before heading to the airport. This cafe is in the Silicon Dock area of the city, surrounded by high-tech businesses and offices. During the...week, it is likely bustling; on a Sunday, it was peaceful and delightful. The staff was very friendly. The food was freshly prepared and perfect for a late morning meal. We ate-in and ordered French toast with bacon; toast with melted Brie, bacon and onion relish; yogurt with granola as well as lattes and juice. All were very tasty. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to eat in Dublin away from the pub and bar scene, check out A Table. It has a good variety of foods on the menu. I think you’ll like it!More

I visit almost every Saturday and Sunday for brunch, absolutely love the staff as they are always super accommodating and usually know what i want. I rarely get exactly what the menu offers and they are always happy to make up what i like. The...food is really great and for the most part, service is super. Always welcomed in with a big smile and hello - no matter how busy they are. My only disappointments have been when they have run out of certain items from the menu throughout the weekend. Just recently they ran out of eggs- with numerous shops around, it seemed like a simple fix. A second disappointment was being, what I felt as very overcharged for extra scrambled eggs on the side (€5) - this has only happened once but seemed unreasonable. I'm always there and I obviously return because I love the place, food and atmosphere. Very small things to please consider for the future. As usual, see you this weekend.More

I frequent Á Table regularly as I work around the corner. In recent months I feel that the service and quality of food & coffee has gone down. The coffee has been cold and the granola pots no longer have homemade granola in them, it...has been substituted with shop bought which goes soggy and ruins it! I have checked this with the cafe and they have advised it is now shop bought. Will be getting my breakfast and mid morning coffee elsewhere going forward.More

My colleagues and I were looking for somewhere low key to have an informal catch up in a relaxed environment. A Table which is normally open day time hours was still open and we were curious about their wines. We had a lovely bottle of...Rioja and a glass of house white (s.b. I think - which was really good) and shared a farmhouse cheeseboard which had unusual but good quality Irish cheeses - I love to support local independent producers. What made the experience special was the ambiance and the service and attentiveness of the staff. The only downside is the early closing time (8pm I think) and lack of substantial evening meals. Will definitely be back though and hope to arrange our next team night out there.More
