Don’t go there one of the worst experience in my life. Food really bad, pinza not cooked and a really bad customer service the waitress she was really rude and unprofessional!
Had a cannolo with pistacchio, The biscuits was very very old, at least 3/4 days. Very bad test How is possible to sell something not fresh for 7.50.
I went this afternoon in this restaurant looking for an authentic cannoli and unfortunately my experience was not good. The service was good but the cannoli was old… frozen. After that a colleague told me that I’m Dublin this chain of restaurants are known for...having frozen food.More
I’d been here twice before and enjoyed the food and coffee. So I thought I would show it to a friend today. The lady at the bar was extremely rude. Firstly I asked for two small Americanos. The guy making the coffee made two as...requested but she charged me for one. There was a quick discussion between the three of us where I had pointed out that I asked for two. She kept stating loudly in front of other people in the bar ‘he only paid for one’ as if it were my fault she had not listened correctly and charged me correctly. She then couldn’t operate the machine so the guy making the coffee stepped in to operate it. I was then charged for and given two large Americanos despite asking for small. On top of all this we were told that despite being paying customers we weren’t allowed sit outside as the outside area was for lunch only. There were plenty of free tables outside so I asked if we could sit until the table was needed for use . I was again told no and found the lady to be extremely rude. I will NEVER go here or show anyone else this place again.. what a shame, you should know that bad customer experiences travel further than good ones.More
Out for a walk on a chilly Saturday and stopped for a wee hot chocolate. Unbelievable. It was like a 'real' melted chocolate and cream in a cup. So so so good.
We came in here for a bite to eat late on Sunday..no pizza or sandwiches left but we did have really tasty mushroom and spinach arancini, accompanied by a Negroni made with Prosecco instead of gin and a glass of Nero d'Avola. Lovely friendly staff...and a good buzz about the place!More
What a great find whilst walking through Dublin. A friendly and efficient team serving great coffee and we had a couple of pastries which were delicious. If you visit here… give in to your temptation and choose that cannolo!
We had diner hete last night, Nice servants. Italian girl. We ordered mussels saute, was ok as a starter. Then came the main...pasta with a sauce of the house... i send back the pasta because for me these where not cooked enough... i should not...have said this... a cook came to the table and shouted that it was al dente like in Italy. I have been in Italy many times but never had undercooked pasta. Anyway we left the place rightaway... I should have know this man and the chef can not cook.. to many Burgers on the menu, not to much Italian style meals. Si do yourself a favour and walk by...More
Only came in here because butlers next door was full. €3 for a miserably small average tasting cup of coffee that I had to go and fetch because they forgot even though I paid in advance. Lots more places in Dublin to get a decent...coffee. AvoidMore
I went there with a group of friends, we ordered different pizzas and food to share and everything was just amazing, fresh and delicious. The staff was lovely, very attention to make us understand the ingredients in the menu and giving us great suggestions! During...our dinner they came many times to make sure we liked our choices! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone!!!!More

Simple food, but delicious! Best panino in town so far (salmone). Small restaurant, surprisingly good, we’ll definitely go back!
Hi Michele, We can't thank you enough for this fabulous review! Don't be a stranger! Il Fornaio Team
As it says in the title, it's the best espresso in town. Staff is kind and friendly, recommended for everyone.
Hi there, There is plenty more where that came from so be sure to call in again! Il Fornaio Team
1145 am/ 7th April. Just walked out of the cafe on Liffey St. An almost empty restaurant - only 2 other people. The waitress could not have been ruder. It took 3 attempts to order as she was too busy talking to her friend at...the counter. We were then abruptly cut off mid sentence and told to move table. I confronted her (politely) on being so rude and she then pretended she couldn't speak English. I tried a second time and she shrugged and said she couldn't speak English. This made matters worse. It was farcical but also appalling behaviour. EL Fornaio you can and should do better than this. We left and went elsewhere. I have gone there weekly for years but this was the first time at at weekend. I will never ever return. The waitress in question clearly has problems with customer service and nothing but contempt for the people who frequent the place and by extension pay her salary. This person is losing the restaurant business and management should either train her properly or get someone who likes dealing with people.More

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly to the point that we felt obliged to tip them (😂). thank you! We ordered coffees, glass of prosecco and wine later that evening. Meat platter with one kind of cheese accompanied by an amaizing, freshly baked bread...was a good deal we thought- and very tasty. Lovely evening in a sweet little spot we just happened to walk in. will def be back! I'm giving 4 stars because I simply think it was very good but nothing super extraordinary...but the place really does deserve your attention & you won't regret picking it over other spots in that area;-) cheersMore
