Pre booked a table for a large group. The food wasn't consistent. One pizza was very burnt on the bottom and the steak portion was tiny! However the calzone I had was lovely. Hit and miss. Wouldn't return.

We were treated so well at La Caverna last Saturday. The staff were really welcoming and the food was delicious. It was to celebrate my sister's birthday and the staff made it so special. I have previously left a review on another restaurant (FX BUCKLEYS) and said the steak was the best I've had. Until I came to La Caverna.... More

I visited La Caverna with family and some friends from Italy. Our guests had minimal English and based on the WEB page I expected that in La Caverna we would find Italian speaking staff. It was a disappointment to see that there was no Italian speaker working (at least in the time off our visit). I'm not sure at this... More

We went for dinner after a civil ceremony. The service was brilliant. The food was good. The restaurant wasn't one bit busy so there wasn't a great atmosphere but the staff were very accommodating and couldn't have done enough.

My best friend brought me here for our big meal out during a celebratory graduation trip to Ireland. Food was lovely, the setting is quirky but the service felt a little cold. Appeared that they weren't too keen on two twenty-somethings and seemed focused and more attentive to the older couples and the group next to us meaning we had... More

Certainly one of the best places of Dublin. The staff treated us like king and queen. The food was awesome, everything perfect, and there's a big wine list. If you come to Dublin, you should eat at La Caverna.

From the start the service has been fantastic. With the a group of 19, the staff where very accommodating. We had our own room downstairs for the meal with menus set out ready on our arrival. Could not fault the service and everyone commentated on how good the food was. Would defiantly go back when next over in Dublin.

Myself and 3 friends were looking for someone nice to eat for our last night in Dublin, I looked at trip advisor and noticed this was highly rated. Im so glad we chose this place, the food was exceptional (highly recommend the goats cheese starter) every single one of us thought our meals were delicious and the staff were very... More

This restaurant is a little hidden away, down an alley, but worth the find. It is inside a basement with bricked arches and ceilings, and has a very cool feel to it. It is small and maybe a little cramped where we were seated. The pasta meals we ordered were both delicious and so too was the pizza. This would... More
