I have been here about 4/5 times before and every single time it has been amazing. The food is outstanding, the pasta is so fresh and the bruschetta is lovely. Staff are very friendly, definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Dublin.

My family and I went here last night for our annual Christmas evening out. I selected the restaurant via TripAdvisor and I wasn't disappointed.
The staff are very professional and attentive, without being over bearing.
The five in my party selected the house Sauvignon and...the house Nero D'avola wines which were both reasonably priced and very good quality.
The five starters were excellent with the meat platter and the prawns as the stand outs.
For mains we selected the T-bone steak, lamb cutlets, Gluten free Manzo, carbonara and the calzone. I had the lamb and I think, I would put it up with some of the best food I've had in Dublin. The T-bone steak was cooked to order and very tasty. The calzone was huge and tasted excellent. the two pasta dishes were both excellent.
One dessert and a coffee finished off our meal in style.
The total bill €233, €270 with a well deserved tip.
I would highly recommend La Caverna and in my opinion it's one of the best meals I ever had in Dublin.More
Amazing customer service from this restaurant. Staff were amazing and tended to every need. Was served by young brunette lady who was an amazing waitress, would highly recommend this place for food and customer service! 10/10
Dined out here on a Pigsback voucher earlier this week, which was a three-course early bird meal for two. Our reservation was for 6.15 p.m. but we arrived in town much earlier than expected. This was no problem to management and we were led to...our table. All staff wore face masks and there were hand sanitizing dispensers on every table. The early bird menu, whilst not extensive, was quite good. We ordered Garlic Prawns and Caesar Salad for starters, Chicken Risotto and Lamb Shank for mains, and Crème Brulee and Panacotta for dessert. The food here is really good. The Caesar Salad was absolutely huge and the smokey bacon in it was just right! The report on the Garlic Prawns was good but there could have been more prawns apparently. Mains were delicious as were the desserts. We have no complaints at all about this restaurant, hygiene practices were evident, service was good and food was so good we were too busy enjoying it to take photographs! We will definitely visit here again.More
Visited here with high hopes. Interior and staff were lovely. Starters were okay, although mussels were not fresh. Mains however were inedible. Truly dreadful quality and certainly not worth the money.
Visited here on Sunday the staff were lovely the service was quick with a smile when we arrived most of the food was nice but the lasagna tasted perfumery, the tables are very small for a couple but apart from that it was nice 👍🏼
That was my second visit in La Caverna, and I didn’t think it was possible, but was even better then last year.
I chose the place, because they have a vegan menu as well, with several exciting options for starter, main and dessert.
Dishes looked...so tempting and they were super delicious. And even tho they were very busy, we got the order very soon.
Attentive, professional service by Aphroditi and Shannon, who made sure, we had a great time there.
My partner chose from the set menu, and he had no room for dessert. Guess what! We both got a drink on the house!
I have been in the hotelier for 13 years, been around the world but I have to admit, this was one of the nicest surprises. These little things create huge difference among restaurants.
Many thanks again for the entire team for this special dining experience.
I will be back soon!More
Me and my husband were so happy to be able to visit our favourite restaurant in Dublin,La Caverna, for the first time in months on 6th July. Yet another fantastic experience for us here thanks to the great food and the incredible service from Afrodita...and Shannon as per usual. We had Manzo and Pollo Siciliano for mains and Tiramisu and Opera Cake for dessert. We chose a very good Rose for our wIne and had some prosecco also, We were so happy to see the restaurant was busy for a Monday especially since they had only reopened the previous week when restaurants in Ireland were permitted to open again when Government eased restrictions. Please note there was hand sanitizer at front of restaurant and at each table. We should all support local businesses in our cities at the moment and we will certainly be back to Caverna again soon. Thanks again to Shannon and Afrodita for your exceptional service, much appreciated by us. Best Regards.More
What a lovely place, actually spreads across 3 floors bigger than you think. What a hidden gem. Prefix menu before 6.15 is a great deal and value for money, from steak, lamb shank, pizza pasta all yummy big dishes. Must go to when in Dublin!!
