Arrived at 1pm to an empty bar/lounge, no staff. Looked around for a few minutes. Man entered minus a mask, went behind bar and roared for staff. Gentleman came and told us to take a seat. Lady then arrived and brought menus. Not a great...choice, all 9.95 so probably geared towards getting a pint and ordering anything. Both had caesar salad, nice but nothing special. Not from the area so we were not sure where anything better was available. Would not stop here again. Decor very 80's, clean and plenty of hand sanitizer.More

I was in Dubin a girl's weekend and we all went to Lamb Doyles for some dinner and drinks before going into town. I must say the food was delicious I had the Breaded Mushrooms and then had he Chicken Cury for mains. It was...sooo much food for what the price is but as well worth it! I would definitely recommend it if anyone is taking a trip too there. Thanks to the staff as well very helpful.More

It's a good walk to this place if you are out walking. You can sit outside enjoying the cars going by. To see the scenery you would have to be sitting upstairs which if you can you would certainly have a great view of Dublin....The food is a hit or miss. I've tried it with my colleague and I a few times some times food was great others not. The pint though is lovely!More

i attended an 18th in lamb doyles on the 27th of September, when the staff told us to leave the event they didn't let me and my friend upstairs after we realised that he had left his phone upstairs and i left my coat. The...staff were extremely rude and aggressive when we asked to go upstairs but eventually they let us. When i was walking down the stairs i had two balloons in my hand , i had a bouncer tell me, word for word: "are you pretending those are your tits" i was both appalled and horrified at this comment and he continued to make other sexualised inappropriate comments comparing the balloons to parts of his body. I have never in my life been treated like this by staff and i will not be returningMore

Visited yesterday afternoon for Sunday lunch. To say was disappointed is an understatement. The food was atrocious and tasteless.Normally go to Three Rock or Ploughboy where have always enjoyed the Sunday lunch. Will never eat in Lamb Doyles again and would not recommend to anyone.

People were welcoming, food portion & quality was simply amazing. With burgers, you get to prepare your own plate.

Excellent. Eight adults and 1 child for lunch. Excellent service. When taking our order the waitress noted who ordered and served our food to the person who ordered it. She did not arrive with random plates and ask "Who ordered the......". Toe this is the...mark of good service. I am only sorry I do not remember the servers name. Food was also good and the portions are large. Excellent value for money.More

I was invited to an 18th party by a friend at “Lamb Doyle’s” of which I had never heard of but was excited to go. I assumed you could bring your own drinks in as this was the case for 3 other 18ths I had...been to, of which were all rented out venues. On entering I was just asked by a foreign man “let me see your bag”... my bag was dumped out onto a table carelessly and things landed on the floor. He took my 2 bottles I had and put them behind him and said “you can go in” I said “sorry there was no mention that I couldn’t bring these in so I’ll take them back outside to my dads car” (who dropped me off) he said “no you can get them at the end” I said “no it’s ok” I asked him if he was sure about that and he assured me that if I talked to the manager I would get them back. He pointed me to the manager so I walked over and started talking and he ignored me and walked off. When I went back to the man who searched my bag the drinks were gone and said “sorry it’s up to my manager”. At the end of the night the second before the bar closed, I asked the barman for a pint and had said I haven’t had a drink all night. He served me (and I had half a pint split with a friend as all drinks were €7). At 11:50pm the security began to rudely push people out of the venue and wouldn’t let people turn back to get their jackets. I asked the man who took my drinks for them back and he said he didn’t have them, and to ask the manager who was also foreign. Here I discovered how rude and aggressive the manager was to people. I was then pushed by a security staff down the stairs tripping down 4 steps. My boyfriend then talked to the manager and tried to explain the story hoping the manager would explain or apologise... the manager then began a fight with my boyfriend which had to be broken up by his friends. I was accused of being intoxicated by the barman who saw me only have half a pint with my friend. I was told to call in the morning and I would get them back.. I rang and got no response 3 times. The party itself was a nice atmosphere purely due to all the people that I knew there and it was only good because of that. It’s too common that young people get taken advantage of for their money here and abroad. I wouldn’t book here for an 18th venue. The treatment given by staff was appalling and they weren’t concerned about anything but the money.More
