Great food - attentive service - great wine - highly recommend

It was our first visit and we were delighted. Miguel was doing our service and did an excellent job. He was kind and attentive from the first moment we arrived until we left the restaurant. My partner hat the signature dish the lamb curry and...I went for the original Delhi butter chicken and we were both absolutely delighted by the food. Highly recommend ordering the garlic-onion-coriander naan in addition. We should have ordered more of that because it was simply so delicious. Great dinner - we hope to be back soon.More

Excellent food in a lovely atmosphere

We have been visiting this restaurant regularly the past 20 years and it has been consistently excellent. It is a real treat to come here for the lovely food -always of a high standard - and the excellent service from Nisheeth and the team. This...is a lovely neighbourhood restaurant and understandably has a loyal following .It has a lovely warm atmosphere and a delicious selection of beautifully spiced foods to warm you up. The beetroot chicken and the pork starter are a firm favourite . You will always leave this restaurant in good form!More

Good experience

Best butter chicken ever! They have a great wine menu but the star of the night was the lovely attention of the smiley Mexican waiter. Thanks for your patience Miguel, we promise came back soon. Rasam it's the place.❤️

Fabulous food, great night out

We are lucky to have Rasam in our neighbourhood and visit regularly. The food, atmosphere, staff and service are top class. The staff are very helpful explaining the menu and the only problem is which delicious dish to choose from! The food has amazing flavours...and you can adjust the spiciness when ordering. All the food is locally sourced. If you haven't eaten here - book a table quick.More

Highly recommend for best authentic Indian food in Ireland

Improving over the years

This restaurant is even better than it was 10 years ago, and is often selected by many celebs (as one can notice: actors, musicians, politicians, etc), looking for a private awesome Indian meal. Nothing trivial, dishes in constant evolution and improvement, with frequent new additions....The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to, excellently directed by attentive Nisheet. Close to James Joyce's Ulysses tower, Rasam Indian Restaurant is a place one definitely cannot miss!More

Amazing Food

First Class Indian Dining - Rasam Restaurant

If you want great tasting Indian food, then Rasam restaurant is the best around. The food , staff and premises are first class. It's a must visit Indian if you are travelling around South Dublin.

The best Indian restaurant in the country

There are now many good Indian restaurants in Ireland - but Rasam is by far the best. Beautiful food, obviously made with quality ingredients and a lot of love, by experienced chefs who know what they're doing. Our main dishes were exceptional, and even the...rice and breads are better than you'd get anywhere else. Relaxing ambience too, and perfect service. We've been coming here for nearly 20 years, and are already looking forward to our next visit.More

Best restaurant I’ve ever been to

Could not recommend this place enough !! The food was so amazing so flavourful the best Indian I have ever had !! A special mention to their naan bread done amazingly well the staff had a great conversation with us and explained how it was...made as we were so curious and so happy with it. The staff were unbelievable so attentive , friendly couldn’t have asked for more !! Tell everyone you know about this place so so amazing. Favourite restaurant I’ve been to !More

Rasam - holiday treat to remember

Who would have known that a really warm Bank Holiday weekend, close to home, could be so exotic? Rasam is easily accessible by DART along the beautiful coastline from the city, or from North Wicklow. We opted for various starters before choosing that feast of...Indian meals, Thali, the mere sight of which lifted the spirits of four generations of our family last night. The restaurant was cool, and billowing curtains in soothing shades of amber made for beautiful surroundings, with all the legendary warmth and efficiency of the team at Rasam. In this weather, the Indian ice cream rounded off a wonderful meal. And then, just around the corner, there was the opportunity to admire the full moon over Scottsman's Bay. What's not to love?More

A rip off

What a rip off a fool and his money easily parted here dreadfull food was cold tiny portions and bland not a bit friendly stay clear all about the decor was just such a rip off
