Jacques was a great find. The food was the best we have had in Ireland to date. We had the "Confit of Duck" and "Falafels", both meals we very good. I can highly recommend Jacques. The restaurant filled quickly. They have the main restaurant at the rear and Tapas at the front. The Tapas area was packed when we arrived... More

We went to Jacques as a group of four to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday and we were stunned by both the quality of food and value for money. We were greeted with warmth - the service is lovely - but it was the food that stole the show. A gnocchi with goats cheese starter, closer to gyoza than pasta,... More

Dined here recently and this was a fabulous meal, having just returned from Iceland were restaurants prices were nuts, this was like a really cheap night out!!! Its great value for what you get in terms of flavour and presentation and food. Four of us dined and all had different starters and mains. I had a beef salad with blue... More

We had a family lunch at Jacques. Unfortunately the meal didn't meet our expectations. Very average food ie. Fish and chips, fish pie were ok. Nothing special. Desert wasn't good at all. Sorry reading the reviews we were expecting a much better meal

Goats cheese is fab....crab not so ....certainly couldn't see any justication to as the comments on Tripadvisor raving about it! Mains especially the Monkfish and steak were tasty but not extraordinary, given the price l was expecting to be wowed....good atmosphere and attentive service....but better value and same quality to be had elsewhere!!

Went here with my girlfriend on a busy Saturday night and the barman was able to accommodate us as we didn't have a booking. Staff very friendly and helpful! Food was delicious especially the monkfish curry! Lovely restaurant and great atmosphere!

Had lunch with my girlfriend couple weeks ago , I really enjoyed the toasted sandwich and soup . Staff were really nice and polite always were asking if we were okay . If I'm in Cork I would definitely go there every time .

We have been here first time and it was great experience to try something different than usual. Tapaz was delicious we took 4 of them and all of them were perfect. I think it's a little expensive because I was still hungry after (probably 6 meals would be ok for 2 people) or maybe it's because I enjoyed it so... More
