Bad food. Overpriced. Bad service. The crab starter was bland. The dressing wasn't bad but the crab meat was tasteless. The plaice main course (€27) was awful. Tasteless fish sitting on a bed of cabbage, half a head of raw cabbage! The cod main course...More

Popped into Jacques over the weekend to have lunch, walked in without any booking and found a table with no problem. Good choice on the menu, especially if you like seafood. Service is quick and a great friendly atmosphere.

One of the restaurants down the road from Jacques recommend this place, and we are glad they did. The food was very good, albeit rich. Nice evening with the family.

We popped into Jacques on spec, and without a booking, but were delighted to discover some delicious Irish seafood dishes accompanied by delicious wines. The service was friendly and efficient and I can’t recommend highly enough the crab starter ( which actually tasted of crab)...More
