Been to Amicus about 4 times in the last 18 months, very very poor today for early dinner 5pm. Servers are great and polite, good vibe. The food however, really gone downhill. We ordered the Chicken Burger and Cheese Bacon Beef Burger. Beef burger had...the soggiest bacon with disgusting fat, flavourless, tasteless cheese and the beef burger was homemade but flavourless mince. Chips were fine. Really disappointed with Amicus, probably the worst meal I've had there won't be coming back soon unfortunately.More

Went here for a nice dinner, the staff were very helpful and understanding in terms of my food allergies (the waitress double checked everything with the chef for me), and the service was superb. We had the vegetarian sharing platter which was delicious, just enough...food to leave you wanting more for the main course, and a really good mix of choices - all vegetarian friendly.More

Poped in today with my son and daughter for lunch, no booking required, we were seated immediately on entry by a very pleasant server. Food was excellent and service pleasant and professional, so nice to have a bit of normality, seeing people enjoying themselves. All...in all a lovely spot in the city for food. Definitely be back.More

The service Devin provided was outstanding ! Recommend the eggs benedict and the dish was 10/10, had his viser on so I felt very safe. Between the service and food this place is a 10/10. Thank you Devin! Will be returning!

Came in without a reservation but we were thankfully seated without an issue. The place had a good few diners so we were hopeful to get good food. Ordered the chicken curry, and steak. I had the chicken curry and it was delicious. I'm not...a fan of yoghurt, chutney or poppadoms, but the curry was hot, tasty and with generous portions of chicken. Could have had a little more veg in it, but was delicious with the rice nonetheless. My mom went for the steak with just onions and chips. The steak was cooked exactly to her liking and was tender and flavoursome. The onions were plentiful. The chips were crispy and delicious. Safe to say we both cleared the plates. I was full but my mom got the Eton mess for dessert. She ordered it with modifications which were honoured and she cleared the plate so it must have been nice. The only complaint would be the staff. They weren't rude or disrespectful and were attentive to our order, but they were a little unfriendly. Would dine here again, but it would be nice to be greeted with a smile and a friendly face. This place has great potential!More

Excellent food, extremely friendly staff (especially guy from Portugal) and an overall brilliant atmosphere with great music and very high hygiene standards. Prawns exceptional. Seafood Penne very good too. Thanks to all the staff.

It was grand. It is well located and we were seated quickly without booking in advance. Food was okay. some staff were lovely while others were a bit cold to us unfortunately. If I was stuck for somewhere to go I might go there, but...otherwise I probably wouldn't.More

Visited Amicus for dinner on a busy Friday night. Could not fault the staff/food. We had starters and mains both were impeccable. Also had cocktails and were not disappointed. We felt very safe and all guidelines were adhered to! Wish we knew our waitresses name,...one blonde girl and another red haired girl! We had such a good night!More

Visited Amicus for lunch and there was a big deal about having to use your phone to look at the menu. We asked for an actual menu and eventually we were brought one between the two of us. The food arrived and was really nice...could not fault it. Once we were finished the bill was brought to our table and we were asked if we wanted to pay by card or cash, bare in mind we had not asked for the bill. This came across very much like they wanted us out of the restaurant as quickly as possible. We told the waiter we weren’t ready to pay yet. Maybe 20-25 minutes later a blonde haired guy who appeared to be the manager very rudely told us we had been there 1 hour and 45 minutes and they needed the table. I had no problem with this as I am aware they are following the Covid regulations but he could have said it to us in more of a professional and polite manner, after all we are paying customers.More
