Great beers and amazing pizzas! What more could you ask for and it is situated in The centre of town, it’s the perfect location.

Took the family to Rising Sons brewery for a pizza and a pint. Pre lockdown it used to be a cracking place. Great value and excellent food. Today the food is very poor quality and not great value at all. Staff are cool pints are...class so all in all it’s a great place for watching sport coupled with good craft beer and pasty, undercooked pizza. 👎🏻More
First time in The Rising Sons bar and I have to say I’m delighted with my experience there. The staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable, in particular Eve, who cracked a few jokes and made our evening most enjoyable. The bar is stocked full of...very tasty beers and IPAs, most of which are brewed by the company. If I could rate ten stars I would!More
We had a brewery tour here, the tour guide/manager was profound in her delivery of the tour and emphasising the normality of the owners and passion they have for their business. I cant recall the managers name but she has been with them since the...beginning for 8 years and you could instantly tell her passion and love for this industry it was amazing to see. The tiring long hours that come with bar work the night before didn't stop her enthusiasm and detail she went into every process the brewing. This was not a job task for her, but simply a pleasure she revelled in. Such a pleasure to witness someone do something they love while, giving the care and attention to the tour and take time to discuss everything!More
Excellent craft beer selection in a friendly pub. Irish beer is not just Guinness and Murphy’s. Heartbreaker IPA was excellent.
We booked on a tour of this brewery and what a brilliant experience. The lovely lady that showed us around was so incredibly knowledgeable and interesting as well as being friendly and lots of fun. We looked all around behind the scenes discovering the processes...and history of the brewery then had a beer tasting session tailored to what we had said we enjoyed best. This tour is a must do for anyone visiting Cork with a liking for beer, lager, stout etc. My husband isnt a real ale fan like me but loved the lager and stout and discovered he also likes a "red" beer which he'd never have tried unless on a tour like this. We stayed for lunch after and had a delicious pizza. We loved the place so much we returned another night. Thankyou so much for such a brilliant fun tour a highlight of our trip to Cork.More
Brilliant bar, lovely pizza and outstanding staff. So chilled and relaxing, more pubs like this are needed.Wheelchair friendly they could not have been any nicer or done more for us. OUTSTANDING STAFF. Looking forward to the next night
Was told that the Rising Sons was THE place to go to watch sports in Cork. On the day of the Grand National went in to watch it on one of its twenty odd screens while having a pint. Was (eventually) told (by someone who...seemed bothered at actually having to talk to customers) that it wouldn't be showing as "all available screens needed for football". Apparently no other sports exist. On the bright side, won 500 quid on that race and I won't be spending it in there.More
Funny pizza concept: you ask the toppings and they will create a pizza from it. Thin pizza, so not the heavy American style. Besides their own brewed beers also nice stouts on draught like the new Island's Edge. Tried it and I liked it.
We ate at Rising Sons for our evening meal and the pizza situation was fantastic. They allow you to choose your sauce and toppings which makes for many interesting possibilities to go with you beer tasting flight. The staff were friendly ad knowledgeable and guided...us through our choice of the beers on offer. We had a great evening in the industrial-looking surrounds and really appreciated being able to see the fermenting vessels whilst drinking their beer!More
Beautiful brewery, great pub, and very friendly service. Enjoyed beer tasting on a sunny terrace. 7 different beers from this brewery . great beers, well done. A must do in Cork🙂🍻
I visited the bar with my cousin and staff are so friendly!! Izzy one of our servers was very attentive but best service I have ever received was from the hostess Alice Highly recommended.
Very disappointed returning to one of my favourite establishments after a few months closure, regulars had been seated in the outside area when we arrived and presumably long before we got there but we were ushered on after an hour and forty five minutes even...though it was not explicitly mentioned in the booking and it was quite unfair to prioritise certain customers. Beer was nice though as was the food and new bar staff were exceptionally attentive.More
We had a table booked for 9:45-11:45 which was stated in the email, at 11.20 the staff kindly asked us to finish our drinks at the heated seating area outside which we had no problem doing however when we got outside the so called manager...Maria (short blonde shaved hair ) was sitting on the table smoking fags would not allow us to seat at the heated table cause they were closing even tho the staff inside asked us to go out there. This women made us sit on the table outside the main door that had a table and 2 chairs , when we asked if we could have another chair as she could clearly see there was 3 of us she said no you can stand so rudely baring in mind it was very cold and also raining so she would not leave us stand inside under the shelter . She could clearly see we were waiting for our taxi after spending nearly 100 euro in the premises. I have never come across such a rude women and she then had the audacity to call the security over.First and last time I will come here!!!More
delicious food, delicious beer, professional service except one lady behind the bar who ruined my evening. I asked for a lighter, she was very unpleasant. I felt like an intruder. Luckily, one waitress apologized for her behavior, explaining covid rules.
