Heaven on a plate!

I celebrated my birthday with a friend last night in Nosta. I'm a regular customer but hadn't been there in a little while recently. The food was just heaven. We shared the Esme starter which neither of us had tried before. It was just divine,...so fresh and tasty. For main course, we had the chicken skewers which were beautiful...as always and pasta nosta which was so tasty, fresh and light... I prefer the Italian food here than anywhere else. For dessert i had the amazing baklava which was basically heaven on a plate! I've been eating here for many years and the dining experience here is always the same, consistently excellent in every way. As usual staff were so nice, helpful and friendly. The restaurant itself is always spotlessly clean, as well as the toilets. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Cork...What a fab evening, thank you Nosta✨.More

Not a good way to get business

Good table service/ Good food. Some Very pricy pricy dishees to include small bottle of zero alcohol 6 10E !! Was informed there was another sitting at 8pm to which se felt we ould get 15mins grace to have coffee waiter arrived with bill and...card machine a d few still just finishing up with food . While we get you are in a timeframe you should always allow 15min grace. This behaviour reinforced us not to return with out business when we left over 600E behind !!More

Fabulous

extortionate charge for a mineral

I am a regular customer of this establishment and have enthusiastically previously reviewed the food here which is excellent. Tonight I once more ate a fine meal whilst being looked after by friendly and pleasant servers, so why the poor score ? My partner had...a wine which was expensive but acceptable, however I, having never done so before decided to order a coke ! When the bill arrived I notice my can of coke was just shy of € 4 !!! for a can of coke ??? circa a 1,000 % mark up ! I'm in business and understand the challenges but that's simply extortionate and insulting to me as a customer. I'll accept its my own fault as I should have checked the price beforehand and I more cross with myself than anything else. I have no issue with the price of my meal and even left a tip as the service deserved it, however to the owner I say this, your not welcome to it but I sincerely hope you value the € 4 and that your greed serves you well, as I, a regular customer will most certainly never enter your premises again.More

Excellent food, excellent service!

We were pleased to find Nosta - on a pedestrian road just off Grand Parade in the centre of Cork. It was a sunny day, we sat outside - the table was a bit wobbly but the waitress wedged it until it was stable -...she didn’t give up until it was A1. Stopped in for lunch

Stopped by here by accident trying to get out of the rain! Immediately met with amazing service by a young lady who sat us promptly, the menu was large with a great selection for anyone.
