First pub we went to when we moved to Cork, larry and Orla were so nice, and Tonya is simply a diamond. we were like regulars after no time, still pop in on occasion after moving house and still a great pub.

We visited here as part of our pub crawl on our trip to cork. We ordered Morgan and coke (our go to drink) it tasted quite anemic. On the next round we got the spirits on their own as we still had coke. On tasting...they were watered down. We drink Morgan's every day so know the diference. It's really expensive for the drinks....avoid.More

Watched the football replay here on Saturday evening. A nice friendly pub, with a good local trade. We were wearing Kerry jerseys, so obviously we attracted a bit of banter from the locals. A decent pint, and plenty of TV's to watch the game. Pity...about the result though, lol.More

On a recent visit to Cork I visited Larrys bar for a quick sandwich and a pot of tea.I must point out that I have been in this premises on numerous occasions down the years and found the food to be of good quality and...plentiful.However this all changed on my last visit. My chicken salad arrived promptly but was in a heap resembling a haystack in the basket. It consisted of a bit of dry chicken ,lettuce and Tomato,no sign of cheese coleslaw or dressing. Most of the contents were at the bottom of the basket having slid down.To top it all the white bread was certainly a bit on the dated side, and certainly not today's bread today. It was quite obvious that it was slapped together and sandpaper would taste better.larry needs to up his game.More

Larry Tompkins "Corks Sporting Pub" was the second pub which we visited in Cork; lots of locals, good beer. That's all a pub really needs. I had a pint of Franciscan Well Red. The cider was Orchard Thieves. Of all the pubs we managed to...try in Cork, this one had some of the best prices.More

My Wife and I visited recently at Lunchtime. It was about quarter to two in the Afternoon. Staff were nice and Friendly and very attentive. My Wife ordered just Soup and I ordered Roast Lamb, as it was the Only Roast left on the Menu...Board, I also ordered a Portion of French Fries. Soup was quite nice with Soda Bread. The Roast Dinner was a different story. The Portion of Meat was a Child’s Portion, it was tiny!!!! The Potato Mash was devoid of any flavour, lumpy and ‘gluey’. Worse the Veg was dripping of water and the amount of gravy over was tiny. The French Beans and Cauliflower were definitely of the Frozen Variety, the Chips were good? If I could Rate it a Zero * Visit, I would. Give this place a Big Miss!!! Never again!!!More
