A small place with a good menu. We settled on the lunchtime special which in my estimation was a steal at 6 Euro each for Haddock (2 pieces per serving), chips and mushy peas and it was excellent in every way , good sized portions , lovely crispy batter, and proper fresh fish that was as nice as if not... We ordered takeaway from this establishment while enjoying a Sunday afternoon in a pub across the street. We found they had a good selection of fish on our visit. The meal was quite enjoyable.

For quick, inexpensive and very traditional meal it was perfect and very busy. I do not remember a sitting area, since I saw everyone take their food.with then. They do offer hamburgers also and it was also good. the fry's are also very good,

I dropped in here recently for Fish and Chips and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the meal. It was the best fish and chips I have tasted in a long while. Fresh haddock which tasted as if it came straight from the English Market next door and lovely home made chips with mushy peas and tartar sauce.... More

What to say? When you say Fish and Chips, in Cork, you have to go there. Various kind of fish, huge portions, great chips and onion rings, chance to be served in the close pub, cheap. What more to ask?

Had to stop in and get some fish and chips. Place was small with only 2 or 3 tables to eat at, but the fish was freshly prepared to order and served perfectly.

I brought a friend/ guest from the USA to sample one of the best fish & chip bars in Cork. Certainly the best in the city centre. We got take always of Hake & Chips and retired to the bar across the road and ordered drinks. The fish was "melt in your mouth" and we were both totally satisfied with... More
