The Woolshed is an Australian/ Southern Hemisphere themed Sports Bar with 3 Gigantic HD projector screens and 15 , 50" HD plasmas. Showing every kind of sport from Soccer to Basketball, Rugby to Ice Hockey and as we say "If its on, were showing it!". Serving BBQ cuisine, from the award winning Holy Smoke, choose from our sizable BBQ options or indulge in our renowned burgers or our variety of chicken wings. Great Pub!

Great Pub and restaurant perfect for spending an evening in the company of friends, having fun and eating well. We played bowling on several lanes, being about 30 people, and we had a great time. The next day, we continued the fun with games of pool, table tennis and darts, after enjoying a great dinner of hamburgers, chips and many other delicious dishes. I highly recommend this place for a night out with friends - the atmosphere is great for drinking local beer, playing pool and spending time carefree.

Best place for Sport in Cork

Probably the best place in Cork to watch sport. If your match or sport of choice is being televised somewhere in the world this place is your best bet of getting it on. They have plenty of screens dotted around the downstairs and upstairs terrace bar and the atmosphere has always been friendly and convivial every time I've been there. If you are going in a group of 3/4 or more it's best to book ahead for your own table but otherwise it's generally fine to walk in and find a space. The terrace seating and big screen in the back room is decent. I'd recommend the buffalo wings!

Fantastic Service

Came for a birthday for a table of 6. Food was beautiful and all the staff were above and beyond friendly. The manager on duty Alex was extremely helpful and even helped us to split the bill. 10/10 will be back again

I loved going here before covid . But since they opened its set up for covid is bad. When my partner rang to book a table we weren't asked did we want to eat outside or inside .. we would of preferred outside but we hadnt realised the outside was now for seating people aswell and you couldn't just go out there to have drinks before your time was up ... And if you smoke you can go out there but your confined to a small corner with one or 2 high stools and then you have to return to your seat.. When you arrive they take your temp which is grand. We were seated and were looked after with our order for food and drink more less straight away which was fab. When the food was brought down we weren't given any cutlery or napkins ... We waited for a staff member to pass and eventually got the attention of staff and got the cutlery + napkins after 10 minutes . The food wasn't great and usually it is I've had food here loads of times before covid and never a complaint ! But as soon as the food was gone the service went down hill just because we didn't have food Infront of us I'm the staff didn't know what tables they were serving. You can't move from your seat to go to the bar yourself you have to wait for someone to serve you .. when someone did eventually come over my partner asked for a pitcher and I asked for 2 cocktails and we were told no because we only had 20 minutes left on our table in the end we got one drink each and left won't be going back in a hurry.

Attended here recently with my husband. Was told we had to eat or play pool in order to get a drink, considering this is no longer the case with covid-19 regulations we we're abit taken back. However, we had a two course meal each both very tasty and then decided to go upstairs for pool and couple of more drinks. When our time on the pool table was up a male employee told us it was time to leave. After having two new drinks just brought to our table we were shocked that we were asked to leave. When my husband said we have just gotten and paid for two new drinks, the worker told us they can not facilitate somewhere for us to drink them and that he could give us plastic cups to take them with us. Considering it is probably not legal to stand drinking on a public street we told them to keep there plastic cups. If we wanted to drink from plastic cups we could have stayed at home. After spending 130 euro between dinner,drinks and pool I think it's disgraceful that customers are then asked to leave when they have full drinks in front of them. Maybe they should consider telling customers this at the door before they enter so they'll no beforehand.

Had dinner and drinks last night with my friends and Rafael was our waiter. Everything was great but the service was defiantly the best part! His friendly and bubbly service had to be complemented. Thank you Rafael for the great night!

Great Atmosphere

Great atmosphere during first weekend of six nations games. Food and drink were excellent and reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and sure you are fed and watered. Would defo recommend if you are in area.

Great afternoon evening entertainment. Good grub great service in fairness. Played 10 pin bowling, pool and electronic darts. Then caught munster game aswell.Brilliant

Was hoping to spend a few hrs at this bar during the bank holiday with my family to get some food and watch the football was seated inside waiting on my daughter to finish work before ordering food my daughter arrived and her dad was waiting outside for her she was asked for ID which she shouldn’t have been as she was entering the bar with a parent at 4.30 PM,after showing her ID the person try to state that it was a fake driving licence which it isn’t by the way she tried to take her license from her and proceeded to threaten her with the gards absolute appalling way to handle the situation the rudeness and arrogance and power trip she was on clearly haven’t a clue and loves her job way too much and by the sounds of it the gards must be sick of her calling them for everything and anything.I will never go near this place again neither will any of my family or friends she who works on the door is a disgrace to your establishment and needs to get some training in people skills and also learn what is fake and not fake🙄

If I was the owner of this place, I would be pissed. Imagine turning away customers because tables are booked in 4hours time. We would have spent a couple of hundred euros on food and drink over the next 7 hours while watching all the rugby matches. But hey, your customers who are going to turn up at 4.45pm for their couple of pints while watching the Ireland match and then head home will be worth it. We were not the only group told tables all booked when looking to get a seat at 12.45pm... over 4 hours to the start of the rugby match.... laughable... found somewhere else to spend our money...

Utter rubbish. Apathetic, pig ignorant staff who have the personalities of serial killers. If you want to be looked down on, disrespected and completely ignored then this is the place for you. Yeah. Maybe the management need to rethink their customer service approach because right now, there is none. If you want your change thrown at you, you’ll love the place.

Great sports bar

Stopped by to watch some Bundesliga last weekend and had a great time. Really impressed with the set up and the variety of different leagues and sports being shown, which you don't find in a lot of bars. Would definitely recommend to sports lovers!

Very entertaining

We were visiting from the US and wanted to watch the NFL games, not easy to find in Ireland but the Woolshed motto, if its on you can see it there. So got to watch our American football game and go upstairs and play pool. They also had bowling, pingpong, pinball and of course a bar.

Comedy night mondays with joe

If you looking to lighten up your Monday, comedy night at the woodshed is where it’s at!!! The MC joe is only deadly gets the crowd together and the mood lifted and gets you feeling comfy in your seat before the show. The new and upcoming acts make it night of giggles !! The food is amazing and the drinks are flowing Kill your Monday blues with joe @ the woodshed 🤪
