Nice pub (bit cramped) but great atmosphere. 12 of our went out for a team night - ordered food for 9pm - which arrive at table at 8pm - so cold and almost gone by time everyone got there. Fair enough busy Friday night but if you are providing food there should be enough staff to tidy up. Plates, napkins... More

Went here after hearing about the pizzas. It didn't disappoint. Beautiful thin base pizza full of toppings, cooked just right. I got the deal, pizza and 4 x long neck bottles of beer for €23.00. Also got the sweet potato fries between the 2 of us, more than enough and were really tasty. They had live music and the musician... More

Our first encounter with the friendliness of the Irish. Even though we wandered in too late from breakfast and too early for lunch, they made us feel welcome. Helped us choose a beer and served us a wonderful meal. Soup of the day, a hearty potato & leek soup was delicious and the pot roast sandwich was hearty and filling.... More

There is a good chance that I reviewed this restaurant already under the name The flying Enterprise. Just in case, here we go: We visited Cork while on our cruise last week. We were lucky to run into a fabulous cab driver, Chris, who took us to this restaurant after our tour of the city. We asked him to take... More

A group of us recently celebrated an occasion with pizza and pints in Sober Lane.. The food was delicious.. The atmosphere was lovely.. The music on the night was a little bit disappointing but overall a great spot!

I go to Sober Lane for food and drink fairly regularly. The service in there is great, prices are very reasonable with great beer and pizza deals, along with drinks deals (coin toss, etc.) Pizza is top notch and goijons are the best I've ever tasted. Highly recommend this place!

Ate here last Sat night. Busy as there was an Ireland match on, some people already the worse for wear even though it was early. Food was only alright. Had the chicken burger and sweet potato fries. Had expected better from what I'd heard from other people. Wouldn't be pushed about returning.
