An amazing night spent dining at The Glass Curtain! We dined at the Bar Counter, and really enjoyed the informality of it. It was very London/New York vibes as not many places let you eat at the Bar Counters. The open Kitchen concept is so...interesting, and there was such calmness across the restaurant. I would compare it to a Spa Day in the sense of the relaxing atmosphere created with the service and decor. The food was outstanding, taste and presentation was fantastic. The staff were super friendly, engaging and professional. Not once did we need to look for their attention for service, they were extremely attentive. I can't wait to go back!More

My husband and I visited the Glass Curtain this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. I have been so excited to try this restaurant as my husband and I love trying nice new restaurants whenever we can. This was at the top of my list....I’ll start by saying that the food did not disappoint. We went for the à la cart menu rather than the tasting menu, as those options appealed to us more, but it is great to have the option of the two menus. The food was amazing. I cannot fault it one bit from start to finish. The reason I am taking one star off is because of the encounter at the end of our meal. My husband asked for the bill and when the waiter came over with the card machine, before we could say a word, he asked if we wanted to add €20 onto the bill(for tip). Anytime my husband and I go to a nicer restaurant which we are happy with the food and service, we always leave a tip, but, we did not appreciate that before we could even ask to include it ourselves, the waiter basically insisted that we add €20 tip. Tipping should be at the customer’s discretion. After a beautiful meal, we left annoyed at the cheek of the waiter. Management- please stop your stuff from doing this. It almost made us not want to leave any tip at all. We felt very pressured in the moment. And left the tip, but also left the restaurant with a sour taste. Please allow your guest, who are already spending a good bit of money in the restaurant, to tip if they want, and the amount that they would like. This is the first review I have ever left at a restaurant, but I felt this is an issue that will turn people off of the restaurant and needs to be addressed.More

We ate there last night and the food was just incredible. Every single dish we had was amazing. The restaurant had a great vibe and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant was fantastic the team looked after us from the moment we sat down. Great vibe in the restaurant and well the food was just amazing... couldn't recommend this restaurant higher.. the beef chop for 2 is unbelievable....

We went here for the first time and we’re blown away by the tasting menu. Superb food, beautifully presented, with humour and charm from the staff and the chef owner. Just magnificent. We’ll be back!

Had a nice meal and night but maybe simpler is better. I think it's trying too hard and less is more done well. Food was over seasoned in my opinion. Service could improve but overall a nice night.

I called earlier in day to confirm time and spoke with a lovely person named Emma. We were given a choice of where we could sit which is always a good start for me. By coincidence Emma was our server. She is so so lovely....Gentle ,Soft spoken very attentive in an non over bearing way which is just perfect and adds to the anticipation of the food to come . Emma very knowledgeable of the menu and educated us in a friendly helpful not in an impatient superior manner. Then the food arrived Only way to describe my experience was multiple explosions of flavors and textures in my mouth at the same time. I was brought to near speechlessness. This was a wonderful night of culinary excellence. The entire meal was like being on a new and exciting adventure. Bravo chefs and also Emma for such a lovely first evening out after two and a half years. See you again.More
