Gastropub situated in the heart of Cork city offering fabulous food, delicious cocktails & drinks in a unique historical building. The venue is full of old relics of times gone by. The name Dwyers is woven into the fabric of Cork, beginning in 1820 with the establishment by James Dwyer of a drapery, wholesale and haberdashery business at 26-29 Washington St. Over the next century, the enterprise grew into an empire that employed thousands, Dwyer and his descendents striding tall among the ‘merchant princes’ of the city. At the heart of that empire was the original commercial location at 26-29 Washington St, which grew over the decades into a remarkable complex of warehouses and factories, covering

Came here for a family meal. Unfortunately, the menu was super limited. It had been recommended to us that the menu was really good, and so our expectations were high, but we were disappointed with the limited selection. However, the food we did have was...delicious. The atmosphere in this place is lovely too. The decor is really interesting and quirky, and there was a nice vibe. One thing that really spoiled our visit was at the end, when we ordered coffee. The milk that came with it was lumpy, and very obviously gone off. So overall, a very mixed bag, unfortunatelyMore

Having been to Cork twice this year, on a stag, then with friends (couples) this place was my favourite, and I tried a lot! Its just got a really nice feel, great little cubby holes and hide away places. Nice mix of people and ages,...plus great live music too. It does food too, although we didn't have any. Well worth seeking out.More

I think this place was over hyped, I was told amazing things about it but for me the staff were a bit of a let down. Food and Drinks are amazing though so a shame about the staff, they maybe need to have better attention...to detail and customer service training.More

My sisters and I recently visited Dwyers on recommendation from a friend. It DID NOT disappoint. The atmosphere was electric, the staff went out of their way to ensure we were looked after especially Oliver and Ryan ! Our meal was second to none, would...definately not leave hungry , We had intended to travel to some other bars but the entertainment was so good we never moved, only to the cocktail bar which did not disappoint!!!! Would 100% recommend and will be a must on any return visit to Cork.More

Recently enjoyed a really memorable evening in Dwyers. From the very minute we entered the premises we loved it ! From the really attentive, professional and attentive staff to the quirky decor and cosy booths.... and overall realxed atmosphere. Staff here really seem to go...above and beyond to ensure top class customer service. Our food on the night was delicious, a menu with something for everyone. (wings proved a favourite at our table), Also well priced, Got to enjoy some of the live music on offer also, fantastic local talent which created a great buzz around, cocktails seemed to be very popular, didn't get to enjoy one on this occasion but just means we MUST go back. 10/10 recommendMore

We visited Dwyers at the end of June on a Sunday evening and I have to say from the front of house staff right through the establishment the whole experience was so worth the visit. From start to finish the entertainment was excellent( The Big...Swingin Mikeys were the onstage entertainment on the night)and the food was second to none . An extensive menu with something for everyone certainly didn’t disappoint. The service was fast and the cocktails were to die for. The staff in Dwyers are friendly and professional leaving no stone unturned to ensure your visit is a memorable one. Dwyers caters for all events / parties or just a break away , a visit to Dwyers is definitely not one to miss. It was nice to have the choice of indoor or outdoor dining as it was a warm evening. The indoor area is tastefully decorated with a wide range of memorabilia dating back to when the premises was a textile factory . We will definitely be returning to Dwyers Margaret LimerickMore

Went for brunch with friends and we choose the 'crunch' option which was brunch and 2 cocktails. We were all very disappointed by the food. First of all the chips were raw and only filled about two thirds of the small container that came in....Those that got the wraps said they were not good and the waffles had big chunks of sugar in them which made them pretty inedible, the chicken served with them was fine. The cocktails were also sub par. One of them was completely undrinkable and when the waiter came to collect the glasses/plates and I handed them the full cocktail they didn't even bother to ask if there was something wrong with it since the glass was full which would be basic customer service. The places comes across great on social media so will continue to draw in the customers, its just a pity that they seem to put more attention and effort their social media presence than actually making sure that the food and drink they serve is up to standard for said customers. The interiors and decor is lovely but unfortunately the food and drink is not.More

A recommendation by a friend to eat here. what a huge let down! Reserved a table for 2 people, waited 45 mins to get a drinks order (to be told it will be 15 mins delayed) The waitress took our drink order twice as if...we had just landed - very unprofessional. No food order was taken and we were told we had to wait another 10 mins as the 'kitchen was closing'. I understand it was busy with concert the weekend but please don't take a reservation and make the customer wait for a drink & food order for 45 mins. Very understaffed - not their fault. Very very disappointed, wont be returning unfortunately.More
