I’ve been here a few times for drinks and when I had to choose a place to have my 30th birthday party I could think of no better place. The bar upstairs was the perfect size for us, is decorated in a really cosy manner...and has a great selection of craft beers. We all had a fabulous timeMore

This was one of our favourite weekend break we've ever had! The ale selection was outstanding, ask Anton for advice and like the ale whisperer he will find your favourite. Along with a buzzing and memorable atmosphere the staff and regulars were nothing but welcoming,...be prepared to join in with the laughs! An outstanding place, can't wait to return! Next time for the legendary stout slushie!More

Excellent pints of beer, owner guided us through our selections. Nice guy! We’re a family with two college aged kids and this was our second stop on our evening pub crawl. We all really enjoyed this stop and would definitely return if in town again....Give it a try!More

Great bar and great atmosphere. The drinks were recently priced and the chairs were comfy. The owner was super nice as well.

Popped down on a Saturday evening for a tap takeover by a couple of breweries I respect and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Friendly and welcoming staff, a cracking range of beers and a really relaxed atmosphere.

There's ways of telling people you don't serve a particular beer. Flipping them the bird isn't one of them. Especially when your taps have numbers instead of labels.

One of the most unique spots in the city. The design and decor is second to none. Tony has a great eye for detail, with bespoke hand finished tables and eclectic decoration throughout sure to keep your eyes occupied as you sip some fine beer...and spirits. Selections change regularly, with independent brewing companies taking pride of place. The stouts are rich, deep and creamy, the lagers crisp and fruity, with an array of mind-blowing world beers packing the coolers from floor to ceiling. A night in Abbotts is sure to put a smile on your face and a cheer in your heart. Neatly located off the beaten track, and offering something truly different, Abbotts is the place to be. No mass production, no generic nonsense. Just spectacular beer.More

My brother tried two different beers and both were lovely. I wanted an irish coffee but the bartender suggested that he makes me an even better one, and he did! It was amazing. Also had a shot with coffee/coffee liqueur (im not sure) but it...tasted like Werther's original candy :)) The beer specialist behind the bar has an amazing knowledge and makes you feel welcome. Best bar in Cork area.More
