Firstly it is absolutely spotless and there is a lovely ambiance. Staff are very accommodating and very welcoming. The owner is hands on and ensures customers are satisfied with food and service.
Food is mouth watering and good value for what you got. The portion sizes are generous. I had the steak and it was Devine. I must say the hot chocolate was beautiful with marshmallows.
A great find.

Excellent food, service and welcome. We nearly walked past SO GLAD we didn’t as we were met with a warm welcome, promptly sat and given lovely clean menus ( I hate paper ones when owners can’t be bothered to reprint when dirty )
Ordered a teriyaki with duck and a Hoi A with duck and both were absolutely gorgeous lovely bowls of flavoursome good quality ingredients.. service was excellent and we took a menu with us so next time in cork we will choose on the way 😃 and show our friends too.

We had dinner here last night and it was an great experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely lovely, with every dish bursting with flavours and cooked to perfection, with the spice level just as expected from the menu.
We ordered a bottle of wine, one OH had before there, and it was really good. Perfect temperature and really went well with food. It is also available by the glass/large glass. I treated myself to a cocktail instead of dessert, and that was also gorgeous—limoncello spritzer.
Waiter was attentive and efficient without being intrusive.
Bathrooms are a little difficult to find - there doesn't seem to be a direction sign on the first stairs you go up. But once you find them, they are spacious and spotless.
OH eats here regularly, but it was my first time and I'll definitely be back.

I had a terrible experience at Koto on Valentine’s Day. I ordered two spicy noodle dishes with king prawns for takeaway, costing €39.80. After waiting 30 minutes, I double-checked with the front waiter to confirm my order, and he assured me it was correct.
However, when I got home, I discovered that they had given me two boxes of plain fried egg rice instead—nowhere near what I had ordered! I called the restaurant, and instead of apologizing or offering a solution, a staff member dismissed me and told me to send an email to their support team. No responsibility, no apology—just a complete lack of customer service.
Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional! If you order takeaway from here, make sure to open and check your food before leaving, or they’ll make it seem like it’s your fault. I will never return and definitely do not recommend this place.

Service very good but food was average. Panko prawns - overdone & obviously deep fried . Plus service with a chipper style sauce - is that typically Asian ?
Teriyaki dish swimming in gloopy sauce which my husband couldn't even eat. Portions massive which is not always a good thing either.
Way overpriced for what you get I thought.

This restaurant is something special. One of the healthiest, best value meals we have had this time in Ireland. I had chicken teriyaki and it was superb. There is also a very reasonable by the glass wine list. This is an international standard pan Asian restaurant and we have already discussed how next time we could fly into Cork and catch the train up to Dublin so we could spend the night and eat here. This place really is something special - it is the kitchen,the service and the management together that make this happen.

Service was more than excellent, we really appreciate it but the food wasn't that good.Well,it taste good but it was overloaded with sauce which makes the food quality bad.
Usually shrimp teriyaki or any teriyaki dish don't have too much sauce so you can eat it nicely with rice.
I agree that every house has it's own way of making a dish,but it's not what I expected..

After years of no Thai food living in Florence Italy I could not let this opportunity pass by. It was really of a high standard and my husband who took the brisket "pad thai" had a real winner, my green curry was equally tasty. Can recommend! A large restaurant.

The servers are well informed on the menu, pleasant, friendly and attentive, whilst the food is prepared fresh to order, well presented and flavoursome, if a little more expensive than the general Asian restaurant offerings in the area.
One slight negative, depending on your menu choice, is that the meals are predominantly a single dish style serving, hence there is no separation between the rice and sauce of your dish, which probably explains how I found my duck dish to be a little overly sweet and wet, as I was unable to control the exposure of the dish to the sauce.
My partner loves chillies but even she found the single chilli emoji of her dish on the menu to be a little mis representative of the heat which she experienced whilst eating her meal. So be sure to ask the server beforehand, they will be only to willing to assist you.

Wow I wow I wow
Amazing food which I fell in love with from the first bite . Jeff and everyone involved in this restaurant should be so proud of what they’ve created - so friendly, such great service and quite astonishing food .
Everyone should eat here at least once …… because you’ll want to go again !

5 of us booked a table her last Saturday afternoon. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is very relaxed and not a bit rushed as we often find in other restaurants especially on a Saturday afternoon. The food was just spectacular, we all tasted each other’s meal and all very just wowed. I had the potato and vegetable cakes and they were simply Devine . The portions are very generous and everything was so fresh. Definitely a new firm favourite . I would 100% recommend

I called in mid week on speck for dinner with my partner and was greeted by a very friendly, polite yet interactive young lady who was knowledgeable about the menu and returned mid meal to see if everything was satisfactory.
I strongly believe that good service is remembered long after you forget what it is you ate, unless of course the food is either extremely good or extremely bad ! The young lady in question demonstrated all that is good about Irish hospitality, a trait that is sadly lacking in most restaurants these days.
The restaurant is clean, bright and spacious and as stated in other reviews it may be a little expensive for the fare on offer but as anyone who has passed by a fuel station recently knows - what isn't these days.
On the recommendation of the server I order a teriyaki duck dish and my partner ordered a prawn dish ( amended without fuss to her palate and dietary requirements ) both of which we found substantial and flavoursome, well presented and ate every bit as good as they looked.
I would certainly return.

I know the prices are on the menu but €47.10 for lunch is a lot. The starter and main was nice but dessert was a let down. I had the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake and it was quite sickly. The raspberry sauce in the cheesecake and side was similar to the sickly squeeze bottle you get from the icecream van. If charging that much, at least make your own coulis. The cheescake itself was just ok but again ruined by the sickly raspberry sauce going through it. It was edible so I didn't complain. Service was fine. I wouldn't go back and it's mainly due to the price. I know you mentioned quality and costings to a previous reviewer but you have to look at your competitors and your prices simply do not compare. Food in other restaurants similar to yours is better and pricing less. I wouldn't mind paying if it is a reflection of the quality I'm getting but it wasn't.

Generally a 9/10 place to go to all the time.
Visited last week and whoever decided to use frozen chicken goujons in the katsu curry really needs to go back to the way it use to be. Before you would get a huge portion of freshly breaded chicken, now seems to be a few jelly like chicken goujons on top. I know the cost of things are going up ect but please don’t let standards fall here it will affect ye in the long run with return custom.
Nice friendly staff just don’t change what wasn’t broken

Excellent tasty food and extensive menu. Prices reasonable but the bill took us by surprise. At the bottom of the bill “service charge not included” is printed. This was circled in pen by the staff with a thank you and a smiley face written! We still tipped as we usually do but didn’t like being literally asked to leave a tip. Very off putting. In saying that the waiting staff were very nice.
