Koto is definitely a restaurant I'd recommend if visiting Cork. The food was extremely tasty, with great options for vegans and vegetarians, and was really great value for money as well. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. I'd...definitely come back here again if in Cork.More
We booked onlin having read the reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. We were impressed with the Covid measures taken by the staff. Full marks on that count!
Koto is an upmarket Asian restaurant which is obviously very popular and for good reason....For starters I had the sweet potato fritters and my wife had panko prawns and we were both very satisfied.
My wife opted for the Hoisin duck as her main course and I had the Vegetable pad Thai and once again...excellent.
We went for a bottle of an Austrian white which we had never seen before and it more than lived up to expectations.
The ambience and the friendly service added greatly to our experience.
Koto is a winner and certainly ears its five stars. We finished with a couple of sambuccas (most un-Asian of us) but we left very satisfied and would not hesitate to book it again.More
Absolutely delicious, pristine, friendly staff, Covid measures in place, gluten free menu for coeliacs, lovely atmosphere, candles and fairy lights. Outdoor seating also available. I got the Eight hour braised brisket, unreal!!
Just finished a meal I thought it was sesame oil that made the food way too sweet but now I realise it was honey my wife has an aversion to honey, no where on the menu did it mention honey in the chicken salad otherwise...we would not have ordered it. The chicken noodle soup had the same sweet base so i tried to balance it by asking for sambal but what I got was a form of harrisa with no hint of vinegar so it just was burnt chillis and seriously hot I don’t mind hot. Anyway we didn’t pay for the salad after an intervention the starter was grand be careful what you order.More
Reserved a table on a busy night and we were seated right away. They had a coeliac menu which had loads of options. I had the gluten free chicken wings for starters and gluten free teriyaki duck for main course. Both were very tasty! The...staff were friendly and the food was reasonably priced.More
