I was here just before Christmas, apparently it had just been renovated although it didnt look like it to me. First off, we all had our food order taken, no one offered drinks , we had to ask to see the wine menu after we ordered. Service was pretty poor, wrong drinks, wrong food brought down to a couple of... More

We go here quiet a bit because they have the best fillet steaks in town and for a very reasonable price!!they even did a kids portion of steak for our 12 year old son.they have a varied menu and are in the process of renovating the restaurant.the honey and mustard chicken salad is delicious and every thing seems to be... Avoid. Probably the worst food and worst service I've ever had. Was there with friends for New Years eve. It's a small place nothing special and was only expecting an average meal but it was drastically worse than that. Went for the lamb loin the most expensive thing on the menu. It consisted of 2 small lamb chops that seemed... More

Surprised by the negative reviews here. We had a wonderful meal. I had possibly the best soup I've ever had. Service was excellent, good humoured and informative. This was our third night in Cork, and while we'd enjoyed our other meals (though one was twice the price of Castelli's), this was our favourite. I really can't figure out why the... More

I went to this restaurant with a friend on Wednesday aug 20th I was led to believe it was an Italian restaurant but the menu is a jumble of all sorts. The restaurant was empty at 8.00 pm so I should have realised that was not a good sign. They. Were still offering the early bird menu so I ordered... More

We have been customers of Castellis for 7 years and we wish we could go every week! Each dish is always so tasty and cooked fresh. We always bring visitors and family there who often talk about the food with fond memories next time we meet them! Can't recommend it enough!

Where do I start??! Firstly the service was terrible, Fawlty towers-esque. There was one waitress working on the night and she struggled to cope with our table of two and an other couple who happened to be there at the same time. Her English was non existent and she had no knowledge of the menu, any requests out of the... More

Other restaurants were packed - this one wasn't, we should have seen the signs... 30euro total for two mains that were incredibly poor quality and took 45 minutes to arrive. If you check out the menu, don't be fooled as what you will get will be far from it! I complained in the end as my partner only received half... More

When we were able to get a table without a reservation at a time when all other restaurants in the are were busy, we should have realised that there might have been a reason for same! Unfortunately, there was. I regret to say that this is the poorest 'Italian' restaurant in which I have dined. Whilst I realise that Italian... More
