I have been obsessed with this restaurant for years. The last time I went here the servers were super charming and the menu was gorgeous. I did think that they could be a little bit more experimental or bolder with the flavours! It was a...bit safe compared to what I remembered - could have just been me. The price for the quality of menu you get here and the overall experience though is excellent value. Its fun and bit fancy and you feel light afterwards as vegetarian.More

Absolutely friendly staff, warm welcomes you as you enter & follows up with you through the whole evening. Menu is seasonal and many local ingredients used. Dishes influenced by cuisines & cultures abroad. Menu consists of several tastings. Each dish explained in detail - very...important!!! Fairly large selection of wines (mostly biodinamic, natural) from all of the world, with options of glass, quarter, half & full bottles. Warm & comfortable atmosphere in an small setting! Most definitely recommended for those with open mind, quality food & wine, and those who support such honest places.More

We have just returned from a lovely evening meal in this small vegetarian restaurant, and although I am not a veggie myself, food like that may convince me yet. The menu was set - nine savoury dishes, all different and all imaginative, my favourite being...tempura squash flowers and tofu in a coconut and tamarind sauce, My veggie daughter who was carb loading ahead of aacem added foccaccia and blackcurrant mascapone ice cream to her meal, and said it was very good. Service was friendly and enthusiastic, People here clearly like their work.More

As always we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner in Paradiso. The food was spectacular as was the service. The change to a set Tasting Menu worked very well, very imaginative with fresh seasonal, produce. We were looked after so well by Sam. Thank you to all...the Team. We will return.More

Fantastic experience. Food was unbelievable. Not vegetarian but it would make me consider converting. The staff were amazing as well. So friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend it.

Simply the best vegetarian food you can eat in Ireland. The care and artistry put into each dish is amazing. This is michelan standard and is just incredible. Service is great too and not stuffy like a lot of fine dining. It is relaxed and...friendly. Will never disappoint.More

Top place, top food overall top marks! Service was incredible, staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, definitely one of the best vegetarian resturants we have come across - why it doesn't have a Michelin star we do not know!

I hadn't been to Cafe Paradiso in about 8 years but the place has always been on my mind for a revisit. Our dinner last Saturday was so worth the wait. I love the new selection of 3 x 3 dishes. We had them with...a deliciously chilled Pinot Noir. The cooking here is so exceptional you forget it's 'vegetarian', the flavours are satisfying, complex and refined. Every experience here is memorable and incredibly good value when you consider the quality of ingredients and the magical craft of the kitchen staff. Service is friendly, informal but informed and professional. If you're in Cork you simply must come.More

Incredible tasting menu. We had some focaccia (which might have been the best I’ve tasted!), followed by nine sample dishes - exquisitely balanced flavours, and special versions for vegans. Also we’d highly recommend dessert - we had a chocolate sorbet and a polenta cake. Nice...wine selection too, and locally produced kombucha as non-alcoholic drink options. Staff couldn’t do enough for us! Would happily return next time we are in Cork! 💚More

We travelled to Cork for a gig and spent an extra night so we could come to Paradiso. It had been recommended to us by a friend and we are so glad for the tip off. So many delicious plates and the wine was perfect...too. Excellent service and food from this hard working team. Well worth the effort we made to get here. Thanks Paradiso for a lovely evening.More

The food at this vegetarian restaurant came in 3 courses of three. There was good variety, interesting tastes but I dont think they worked well together. Maybe thats not the priority but I think it should have a greater value. Also I presumed 1 of...the 3 would be a sweet or finishing off course in some way but no if u want a sweet that is a single additional dish on its own. For me 3 courses of 3 things was too many tastes. Good wine menu and the waiter seemed well informed. He gave us a lot of time and support to choose which was good service.More

A superb experience at this great restaurant. From the moment of walking in the service and staff were great. Explained the menu, what to expect and great advice for wine. The meal was truly memorable. I am a true carnivore but this meal was a...good as the meat taster menus I have had at Michelin restaurants. Every course was exceptional. The price was more than reasonable for such high quality food. The staff were great. Knowledgeable about the courses and wine and pleasant throughout. I would thoroughly recommend this experience. Not for children and don’t go if you don’t understand the concept of taster menus.More

I'm not sure. We never saw a small child in the restaurant. It is a upscale experience and I would call them first.

Hi, It's quiet small, but calm in general. Seating is comfortable. Last time, even if the restaurant was full, I was seating in the left corner near the bar, it was quiet and the noise didn't disturb me ;)
