This place only offers takeaway now. The food itself is passable, but nothing special. However it is much better than the Tung Sing in Blarney

Love this takeaway on a Sunday .The nicest beef curry and spare ribs. Very friendly staff . Reasonable priced!

Despite having closed their restaurant recently, the Golden Panda are (thank goodness) still dishing out delciousness to the hungry people of Blarney and beyond.
They are always happy to take an order, even at last minute (i.e. technically fifteen minutes but sometimes even ten minutes before closing time) and are equally prepared to accommodate requests to modify the dishes in some way-a far cry from the nearby Tung Sing who will not take even the smallest of orders after 10.30pm sharp and for whom a side of half rice and half chips is considered too much of a challenge. In the countless times I have gotten takeout here these past couple of years, I cannot remember them ever getting the order wrong-again, unlike the Tung Sing who once served me a special chow mein WITHOUT the special (i.e. without the omelette on top). Staff are polite and efficient and most are perfectly friendly. I hate to repeat myself but this is more than I say for some of the waitress working at the Tung Sing whose attitude problem is extremely offputting.
The dishes are not the cheapest but the portions are large and always delicious (see below for my recommendations). They have also udergone extensive renovation work so pop in to take a look next time instead of having them deliver!

Decided to get take-away from here a few weeks back after seeing the reviews. Had meat starters & mains…chicken in both seemed okay quality-wise but that was it. The satay chicken was covered in an unappetising watery yellow, flavoured syrupy ‘sauce’ which turned gelatinous as it got cold.
The veg spring rolls were more batter than veg (had a few strands of non-descript veg in the middle) & the sweet & sour chicken was covered in similar type sauce as the satay except pink coloured…and just sauce, nothing else. Shockingly bad, going by the reviews each to their own but we definitely won’t be going back.

Ordered vedge blackbean it was vile was left there hardly no sauce or vedge and swimming in bean sprouts. The sauce didn't even taste like blackbean

Got take away here on two occasions and was very disappointed on both times. The curry could actually be anything on the menu its so bland. Sorry but we wont go here again.

I usually visit this restaurant for Take Away as the food is always great and reasonably priced. We have dined in the restaurant on several occassions and have nothing but as good things to say. The food is always good as well at the service.

The golden panda serves tasty food at affordable price. We are regular visitors and very often will also go for the take away option. Service is quick and staff helpful.

I get takeaways every week, I always order the Crispy Chicken in Peking sauce with chips and boiled rice. Haven't found any other Chinese to make such a nice peking sauce like this one. Theres a lot of choice and overall the food is always tasty.

I often order takeaways from this restaurant as its close to where I live and I really like the food they offer. Ive had sit in meals there a few times but the vast majority has been take away. I have always been well satisfied with their service and the food is always beautiful.

After visiting to Blarney Castle and Garden we went to Golden Panda Chinese restaurant to have late lunch. Very efficient bunch of female staff. Ordered Thai Beef Green Curry, King Prawns in Oyster Sauce, Chicken in Garlic Sauce and fried rice. The food was extremely tasty. When I am writing this review also my mouth is watering. Good portions and dishes are not over priced. Had some great food and already definitely recommend to friends. If I visit Blarney again, I will be visiting to this place for sure.
