Its a large restaurant situated between the blarney woolen mills shop and the blarney woolen mill hotel. Seats around 300, buffet style. Mill wheel in restaurant and lg open fire.

Breakfast for 9 Sat Jan 25th.
Restaurant was ticking over nicely but not overly busy.
The wait was way too long and the staff
completely indiverent to customers..a smile would go a long way
Would be slow to return especially over rather steep prices

Extremely busy restaurant only drawback if there is a huge queue at the till your soup is getting cold. The seafood chowder was delicious and homemade brown bread.
Lovely cakes there. The bathrooms were clean.

I stopped by after my gym session today to grab an açai bowl and was blown away by the fantastic service and delicious food! I called in ahead to request my own choice of toppings instead of the standard ones on the menu. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it.
The açai bowl itself was absolutely delicious – the perfect post-gym treat. The fresh, vibrant toppings complemented the rich, smooth açai base perfectly. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a healthy and tasty snack. I’ll definitely be making this a regular part of my routine!
Thanks to the amazing team for their wonderful service and for creating such a delightful experience!

Called in for lunch with the family at about 1.45 in the afternoon. They had run out of lots of items from the menu, which was pretty overpriced, particularly when we saw the size and quality of the offerings. The staff were bored, disinterested and pretty unhelpful (always a sign of a poor work environment). The queuing system was confusing and convoluted.
When our food did arrive, the fish and chips were flaccid and ungenerous; the quiche was soft and rubbery (and based on the flavour, if there was actually goats cheese in mine as promised, I'll eat my hat); the scone was dry and the kids meals consisted of the cheapest type of chicken gougons from a discount supermarket freezer section and a small ice cream scoop of mash. We asked for some gravy to go with the mash and were charged *€2.90* for a tiny ramekin (literally 2 tablespoons of the stuff). Outrageous.
The kids pizza was decent but was pricey at €9. All in all the meal came to about €62 for lunch for a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids). The place was generally untidy and the toilets were filthy. Even the kids commented about what a shambles the whole thing was.
I don't like leaving bad reviews but I was embarrassed that this was the standard offered at one of our country's major tourist destinations. Having spent the last number of days since eating out in Cork, city and county, lunch and dinner I can safely say that this falls way below the standard that the rest of the County has to offer.

We had arranged to meet Fsmily members there for lunch .
It was busy but the lack of staff is very visibler.
The queue moved very slowly - we were asked what we “wanted” and it was put on a plate.
No “hello” and tbh it felt like none of the staff were interested in the customers.
The food was well below average.
I then decided I’d get a coffee at the “coffee express” booth
Again there was a line of customers and only 1 staff member. It was very clear to see that she was under pressure.
There was no Manager to be seen -
customer service training is needed here
I would suggest that Management need to listen to customer feedback

Toasted sandwiches were terrible. Only cooked in one side. Other side was soggy and uncooked. When I brought sandwiches back the staff proceeded to put them back in toaster, burning the already cooked side and returned the sandwiches. Only one sandwich ended up being edible out of 4. Horrible service. Won’t be returning here.

I am a very regular customer Great food unfortunately I had a very poor experience today
I had a baby with me and my husband asked for a high chair a very rude member of staff dark haired lady name like agnataksa refused to deal with him
We found a dirty high chair and my elderly mother began putting the baby in while I wiped it myself literally black dirt came off it.
This same ignorant staff member came up behind my mother and started pulling chairs away from the table
My mother said she would be sitting on the chair once she had tied the baby in. Something that would have taken 30 seconds
But no she proceeded to drag the chairs away because she had to get to the till urgently even though the till had been fine without her for the previous five minutes
I won’t be returning I will spend my money elsewhere
Not everyone is suitable for a customer facing role.

I stopped here with friends early April 2022 and thought maybe it was a one off bad day. Stopped again with family Thursday, June 9 2022 to find it worse. I won't go again.
It's in a prime location and has such potential given the location and size of the premises but it falls short in just about everything especially friendliness/politeness of staff and cleanliness of the eating area.
The floor was sticky, as were the chairs. I tried a few different tables but all the chairs felt like they needed to be scrubbed. The queues were confusing with no one behind second counters to order from and then being sent back by the coffee staff. Staff were either shouting at or ignoring customers. Customers were leaning over each other to reach cream, jam etc at the checkout.
Absolutely no point having a nice scone when you feel icky eating it.

Not many vegan foods and very few labels. But they do have a good vegan burger with chips/fries and a nice salad. All of It was delicious. The large place is confusing for tourists in terms of where to get in line and order and pay. They label all these gluten free baked good but I saw no vegan labels. They need to add vegan pastries. Lots of the salad options have cheese on it. They should start getting avo or hummus to make vegan sandwiches.

Rude staff, they made a mistake with my
Coffee and I asked politely for a new one and it was snatched off me. Food is overpriced for the quality. Coffee was nice but staff would really want to work on their customer service

After visiting Blarney castle, we were looking for a reasonably quick lunch, so we would have a little time to run through the shops before we had to be back on the coach. There was a quite a line for the sandwiches, but it moved pretty quickly. My wife and I both had turkey & cheddar on the multi-grain roll, with mayo and greens. At the last second, I asked the young lady to also add a little of the coleslaw to the sandwiches. That turned out to be the difference. Everything was fresh and good, but the coleslaw on top made it great. Add to that some homemade crisps, and it was a real winner.

Was here this morning with the lovely Ursula abs my son.
We had the breakfast roll and coffee. Absolutely humongous feed! Sausages eggs bacon puddings enough for two in one roll!
Totally delicious and fantastic value.
Highly recommended with outdoor covered dining area.

Located over the store a spacious cafeteria style restaurant. Plenty of choice on the menu hot or cold as well as cakes and snacks. Jugs of cold water provided on the side. Staff busy not over friendly but did their job ok.

Really couldn’t give this a solid review other than the fact we walked in the restaurant and we’re very rudely told they close at 5:00 PM on a Friday evening. Keep in mind this restaurant is connected to a hotel. I’m baffled over this

Had the BEST scone!!! Place was packed and crazy busy. Waited for a new batch of scones to arrive from the kitchen and were we ever happy we waited. They were moist (YUP) yummy and tasty!
