Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband & I had just finished our tour of Blarney Castle and the sprawling Gardens and was looking for a good place to rest & enjoy lunch.
We found what we were looking for at The Mill. They have ample seating at numerous tables with food displays all around. The food is served mainly like cafeteria style and we both ordered a turkey sandwich with cheese, lettuce and tomato.
We also had a bottled water.

After visiting the castle, I popped into The Mill for a coffee and, on a whim, ordered a smoothie bowl. There's a great selection of toppings, but I opted for fresh fruit due to my gluten intolerance. It turned out to be a delightful choice. The charming waitress's friendly and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Located in the heart of Blarney beside the largest Irish shop in the world. See photos of menus. A very relaxed atmosphere, extremely pleasant staff. Eat indoors or outdoors. Large numbers of tourists are bussed there daily.

I had a fish and chips there.
The food is very good and fresh. Extremely cheap for the size of the plate.
Very tasty. I recommend it.

Decided after visiting the Castle & grounds to head into the village for lunch. There are certainly many places to chose from but opted for The Mill and had the Fish Chowder. My goodness it was good 6.95 Euros I was full great value.
Yes it was busy & on arrival a little confusing as to where you order what you want. Luckily I was in the right queue and moved along quickly.

The ‘Mill’ is set up cafeteria style so it can handle the huge crowds that visit daily. They were quick and friendly as you moved through the line. I opted for a ham and cheese sandwich made from bakery fresh bread whit chips and a Diet Coke. My wife went for the Bangers and Mash. My sandwich hit the spot. The bread was soft inside with a light crunch on the crust. My wife said her Bangers had great flavor and the mashed potatoes were perfect with the brown gravy. Great lunch and we would have no issies returning to eat here again.

My family and I were pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. We were in a hurry to find something quick to eat while on a short stop at Blarney Castle. Our tour guide recommended The Mill, so we decided to give it a try, and we are so glad we did! We all ordered sandwiches, and the bread as well as the meat was very fresh and delicious. Services was friendly and we moved through the cashier quickly, which helped us have more time to enjoy our food before having to run back to the bus. If you are planning to visit Blarney Castle, I highly recommend giving The Mill a chance for lunch while you're there!

I had never eaten at the somewhat new Mill at Blarney Woolen Mills - but it turned out to be the perfect spot for 12 of us - including 6 children. It was a sort of cafeteria - with light bites (custom sandwiches, soups, salads) on one side and heavier fare on the other. Serving ourselves turned out to be a much better idea than sitting in a restaurant and waiting to be served - at least with such a large group. The food was delicious - seafood chowder particularly good and the sandwiches were also very fresh and tasty.

I hate tourist feeding spots - since they usually are overpriced and the food often below standard since they know: most visitors would not return to the tourist attraction anyway. But here our driver said that we should go since it would not be so bad, and we would save time to discover more of Blarney Castle and Park. And he was right. It was well organized. Not overpriced. Especially if you are coming with a group, you had different outlets which should meet everyone's demand. Since it was not overpriced - the same level I would pay in a larger city and the food was not so bad than I expected, I had to say, that I did not regret to see this place for lunch. The chowder was rich in fish and not just what was left over and so thick that you could feed the entire family with one bowl. The bread seems to be a higher quality standard - not just toast from the manufacturer. And the scone (with cranberries) was housemade and yummy. So go there, have a good meal and save more time for your visit to Blarney Castle and Park. The Mill is part of the Blarney Woolen Mill Hotel & Restaurants.
