We arrived at the restaurant without a reservation and were seated almost immediately. That's where the good points end! Service was extremely slow, food was good but not exceptional and we were overcharged. I stopped off recently in Bantry for a bite to eat. The staff were very friendly on arrival and chatted with customers during my stay. O'Connors offers some of the best seafood we have found in Ireland. The menu offers good meat options also, but the seafood takes some beating. We perused the tempting starters while enjoying delicious fresh bread and tasty dips. We were looking forward to our visit on New Years Eve having read reviews and had recommendations. On arrival the restaurant was cold. The food was very good but the courses came too quickly. my daughter and I visited o connors on the october bank holiday weekend. The decor of the restaurant is very modern.
