Planned on going out to the Ennis Trad Fest and decided we would grab a bite to eat while out. Four of us dropped in and had a drink at the bar, asked for a table which we got in about 10 mins. Got the bar food menu which is quite good, we ordered 2 Burgers , one Salmon and... More

I had a toasted ham, cheese, onion and tomato sandwich in Preachers Pub and it was lovely. We were served by Rae who was very friendly and efficient. A very nice experience.

We were staying in the Temple Gate Hotel. We were suffering from jet lag and wanting to find a restaurant close to the hotel. What a terrific decision to eat our first meal in Ireland here. We had to try the fish n chips since we were in Ireland. I can honestly say they were the best I have ever... More

Nice atmosphere, but could lower the lights a bit. The traditional music group that played the night we were there were very enjoyable.

I love this old church setting. Food is not high cuisine but neither is the price. Just off the main square tables are usually available and food is served promptly. Lovely trad music from a talented quartet the last evening I dined here. Prices are very good. Enjoy

Excellent Baileys coffee. Had the fish and chips and Irish stew. Live music was great. Service was fast and very friendly and courteous.

Nice bar to visit for a drink and/or meal. The meal and service were good. Live Irish music was wonderful, without being too overpowering. Highlight was when a gentleman in the restaurant broke into song spontaneously. The group picked up the melody and played along very softly. It was amazing.

Nice atmosphere, doesn't feel contrived the way some of the modern pubs that try to inject character can. Staff were lovely.

Mediocre meal in noisy bar. None of our group were particularly impressed with their main course. Service was poor. Wouldn't recommend the Temple Gate or Preachers Pub, there's far better available locally.

This is a lovely bar with interesting features from the old convent. Menu is fairly limited and the dishes we had were just average: over cooked chicken, bland salmon.
