I booked The Market Bar for a hen party and everybody in the group along with myself were highly impressed. I really couldn’t recommended it enough for a special group meal. Barry was very friendly and helpful to deal with and on the night of...the dinner, the staff were very professional and pleasant. The restaurant personalised the menu for the hen party which was a lovely touch and the menu had several options on it. The food was delicious and nicely presented and there was a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant also. Thanks so much to all working at the Market Bar, I look forward to returning soon.More
Excellent place for food and staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Will worth a visit if you are looking for a place to eat.
My daughter and I had lunch here today I ordered the goats cheese salad it was horrendous with the tiniest amount of goats cheese I meen about 30grams for €13 chips over cooked bread tasted like pizza base relish was just tomato sauce and twice...as much of that as cheese salad was just peppers and green leaves 1 sun-dried tomato in the hole thing. Terrible do not eat here very expensive for Terrible food.More
Wouldn't be the kind to write bad reviews however the food here is bland and overpriced. Got the steak, asked for it medium and it was burnt after waiting 45 minutes for it. We ended up just leaving hungry and went to another restaurant.
Myself and my husband visited this restaurant (if that's what you would call it) for our anniversary dinner. Overpriced, the chicken is little strips covered in oil. The curry, what an absolute joke! If I wanted lumpy powdered curry, I would have made it at...home myself. This place used to be one of our favorite spots in Ennis but unfortunately the food has gone to the dogsMore
We were at the end of a long day heading home via Shannon, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They worked hard to serve us as we had booked for 19:45 and the kitchen closed 20:00. Never the less the food was good quality...and plentiful. The Guinness was excellent. It was a bit tricky to find as it is tucked up the side street. I think the menu a bit confusing as if it could not decide to be Asian fusion or traditional Irish. We went traditional Irish. For me the beef was excellent quality but less so for the Clare lamb for my wife. All in all a pleasant experienceMore
Lovely food as usual we have been hear a few times now and never been let down.the selection of gluten free food for my 9 year old daughter is excellent and no bother to the staff at all.the service is great and the staff are...very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone as they cater for all. The best pint of peroni in the west of Ireland.More
We went for dinner last week, the food was beautiful very nicely presented and good value, on the down side the wine we ordered wasn’t available and we were given an alternative without being offered a taste and no enquiry was made to see was...it acceptable,More
I'm not sure where to start with this review... We booked a family dinner for 10 people. The waitress had a serious attitude, was slow and unhelpful. The staff never once acknowledged both 30minute wait times, both for dinner and to simply have our cake(which...we brought in) 'sliced'. 2/3rds of the cake was gone but were only 9 of us eating? The 'fish and chips' were dreadful bits of burnt batter with re-heated chips. Lastly, our pots of tea were not even 3/4 filled..again there was no apology from staff. Very disappointing.More
Have to complement this place for its breakfast freshly cooked to order wide choice on menu for everyone good service, will return
The outdoor dining is a lovely addition. It is clean, well decorated ,warm and we were very well looked after recently. We shared a selection of starters which were terrific .
Always pop into market bar whenever in Ennis....really enjoy their breakfast, pancakes with bacon & Syrup the best any where......Great place
We had an evening meal here, 4 people. It was lovely. Plenty of gluten free options on the menu clearly indicated. Knowledgeable staff. I had the gluten free burger and chips. Very tasty. Nice atmosphere and well spaced out tables. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
Food here is amazing as are the cocktails. Wide choice of food and drinks. The koppaberg mojito is gorgeous and I highly recommend it. We had the sharing platter. Food was so fresh and tasty. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. Great atmosphere. Can't wait...to go back.More
